Why would I care what some Yank pays? That doesn't affect me. Lets look at the facts, not even 1% of the American population give a toss about the self proclaimed "P4P king" who is American enough to even pay a measly $50 to see his midget ass once every year. Thank God for Europe the new home of boxing.

 

With numbers like that for fighting a class C opponent there is absolutely zero financial incentive for either K bro to fight in the states or give a rats flying ass about HBO bureaucracy.

 

I'll agree in the sense that Floyd makes us look bad internationally. I never pay to see his fights-- which in the last three years have only been on 3 occasions against non-awe inspiring opponents. Funny how 90 percent of this forum is about an inactive boring fighter. :good

You can pick up RTL in England with an old satellite dish (pointed in the right direction). ANd it's free. The rest of Europe can too.

Which makes me think that it's free in Germany.

I'm sure Americans would watch free heavyweight championship boxing. But unfortunately for them, greed tookover. Pay-to-watch has destroyed boxing just as much as having all them alphabet belts.

 

RTL is not PPV is it?

 

If anybody wanted to watch, they watched it on epix and it was free.

 

American heavyweight champion + free tv = millions of viewers.
