Wlad - Mormeck press conference pics

What advantage can mormeck possibly have here? Can't see anyway he can even be competitive

Complete mismatch, Wlad will get him out of there inside 6 rounds and most likely look very good in doing so, Mormeck will plod forward eating left jabs and straight rights all night, probably have to climb off the canvas a couple of times as well or maybe just go out flat on his back, he won't be in the fight at all, way too small.

 

Lamb to the slaughter right there.

 

I don't mind Wlad fighting a poor opponent because there really isn't that much depth in the division, so he has to do something. What annoys me though is that this mismatch and another mismatch with Vitali will both be sold as huge events. That's not fair on German fans and, ultimately, it hurts the sport. This is going to be another event with an absolutely dire undercard and a mismatch main event. If the brothers can't find competitive opponents, fine, but fight on the same card or have an undercard which makes it worthwhile for the fans. Nobody wants to sit through a terrible undercard and watch such a one sided main event for two or three rounds.

The fact they can charge such huge prices for tickets is disgraceful. People talk about them being good guys, ambassadors for the sport and all that ****, but are they really helping the sport with cards like this or Vitali/Sosnowski? Please.

The good thing is though, Mormeck is 5'11" and black, so we'll have years of Klitschko fans saying "Wlad would beat Frazier and Tyson like he beat Mormeck". Awesome.

Nobody is forcing them to, no, you're right. Not every fan knows who Mormeck is though and this fight isn't going to be sold as the mismatch it is. How many of those 40,000 or so fans are aware that Mormeck is completely shot? Will they find out or will TV stations regurgitate the nonsense lines that Mormeck is a threat?

Aside from that, the German TV company that has a contract with the Klitschkos are going to show this event, so even the fans who don't go to the arena are still paying for this, whether they like it or not. Even if they boycott the entire thing, they're still the ones funding it.

 

This is worse than haye-audley. Yet Klitschko gets worldwide acclaim for being a gent. A sham.
