For a while there i was thinking his right hand was hurt ...he just would not throw it ...if Emanuel would have been in his corner he would have been screaming at him to knock him out by trowing a right hook .........!!!! he needs a trainer ....
I thought the same, for a few rounds he didn't use the right hand at all....was sure it was hurt or something. Emmanuel would've been disgusted with that performance. Banks might be a good friend and have experience working with Wlad, but he's not a trainer.
I remember when Steward would raise Hell in Lewis' corner, kick him out of the corner and make him fight, he did the same with Vlad. After watching Banks blow his fight with Seth Mitchell, I think Vlad should fire him and hire Stevenson's trainer from the Kronk gym, or even Freddie Roach!!! Whatever, Banks is not a good trainer at all..............
Bank might not be bad for holding the mitts, discussing strategy, monitoring sparring, etc, but as others have said, its painfully obvious that the guy isn't a corner man. Personally I think Abel Sanchez' cerebral yet perfectionistic style would be the perfect fit for Klitschko. Either him or Joe Goossen. Both are guys who keep a cool head under pressure, but both can turn up the heat if their not satisfied with what they're seeing.
Did you watch Banks blow a sure knockout in the Seth Mitchell rematch?! Vlad won every round, had Povetkin out on his feet and outboxed him on the inside, but did not bother to go ahead and knock Povetkin. I think Vlad should only fight the bums that Wilder is fighting, then the haters would claim he is the best! Wilder fans claim that Wilder's opponents are all superior to everyone Vlad has fought. Damn, I have a bridges I will sell them!
Man you are the biggest racist I have ever seen. Wlad fought like a scared *** today. It has nothing to do with Banks racist. Wlad's old ass knows what to do by now. My god your love for Wlad and hate for blacks is not normal.
To me wlad does not need anybody but banks, he been champ for 8 years now, he does not need a new mentor, he needs someone he trust.. I think wlad adjusted at times, an at times knew his head hunting technique was winning the rounds. Would not be surprised that he let him hear the final bell out of respect for the Russians, he did the same thing with sulton a few years back.... Saying this sasha fought a sold fight, he has great head movement, an if he does not let this fight get him down, I could see him earning a rematch, he really to me had wlad looking very uncomfortable at times. To me he did a better job then Hayes did against wlad, only guy I think did better in the past 9 years was peters in there first fight....
Povetkin is a gold medalist and so is Vlad. Yet Wilder fans claim that Wilder has fought superior opponents! So, should Vlad start fighting Wilder's former opponents?
