if vitali makes it through training camp - in which he may again destroy himself by pushing his body to the limits and tearing his muscles apart....now that's an intensely scary man to step into the ring with - this could be the best HW fight since lewis Vitali.
Wlad will never be Vitaly. It is psycological difference betwen younger and older brothers. There is plenty of research on this and older brothers tend to be: More focused, more serious, more diciplined etc. while younger brothers tend to be more lazy, creative, playful etc. (it is easy to look up on th internet). Vitaly was focused and wanted to seriously hurt the other guy. Wlad has really good physical genes, but his mind is not great in the sense that he is not as dedicated, focused, diciplined and stringent as Vitaly and he never will be.
You're absolutely right. I thought Vitali had no heart after he quit in the byrd fight, but he proved me wrong against Lewis and he had a damn good run as champ. His fight with Kirk Johnosn was IMO the best heavyweight title defense I've seen since. He came in their like a champion and beat the guy down. Vlad is such a fairy. He fights to survive and hopefully land the right hand. I wonder if Steward even tries to get him to go to the body or work on his punch variety. God, I honestly think I'd rather watch John Ruiz than a VK title defense.
