I seen his Hoffman and his latest fight against Krasniqi. These oppenents are not all that great, Krasniqi was pretty good at one time, but since Brewster laid him out back in 05 his career has been on a downward spriral. If Thomspon can knock him out, alot of fighters can.

I might not know as much about Dimitrenko as others , because his fights are not shown here in the states, but from what I seen I'm not all that impressed. He may be top 20 caliber, but I find it hard to stick him in the top 10.

Well, their will always be fighters waiting in the shadows. I guess if Peter can beat Chambers in a devastating fashion, you would definitely have to consider him, seeing that Povetkin had a hard time with him early on in their fight and was unable to knock him out. Then unfortunately, I guess Arreola, even though I dont think much at this point. Chagaev would be interesting oppenent, even though deep down I dont think he wants anything to do with Wlad.

Dimitrenko is good although a bit young. He still has work to do but has looked improved.

Dimitrenko, however, has decent handspeed for a big guy and good power...he could make things interesting.

He's not my first choice, but he is a good choice considering the division.

I don't believe that Haye is scare to fight Wlad, but I do think Wlad is a bleeding vagina. His bro is much better fighter than Wlad. Wlad folds when he gets hit, jab all day bc he is too scare. A ko loss is waiting for him if he ever steps up to a big puncher. He wanted his bro to fight Haye but his bro is stuck with gomez so he weasel his ***** ass out of the haye fight.

Yeah, if Peter can beat Chambers I'd at least give him a fair chance at a title again... knowing the organizations they will even if he loses. This is our real problem though, outside of Haye and possibly Povetkin (I really think he's too inexperienced at the pro level) we've got no one really interesting for him to fight.

Ironically I think Chagaev has the best chance of beating him. As much as I like Wlad, he does not fare well against lefies not named Chris Byrd. Someone with decent power has a good chance, although I don't really know what Chagaev's power is like.

    Dimitrenko young?

Mike Tyson was 20 years old, when he becomes Heavyweight Champion.

suck my dick,, germany hasnt had a good HW fight in ages. unless u like watching wlad beat up on washed up fighter , or nobodies. Germany sucks for HW boxing unless denis B is fighitng. and the judges are so paid off too. GO GOMEZ

Your certainly right, the division isn't exactly rich in talent. I do feel if Peter lays out Chambers, which as a big Peter I think it's still a 50/50 fight for Peter and if he wins big look for him to a get a another title shot by the end of the year.

As far as Chagaev goes, I was a big fan of his after he put on a pretty good performance against Valuev back in April of 07. 2 years later he has done very little, backing out of fights with Iggy and Valuev because of medical issues. He does have some power, but he's mostly a hooker and can throw a decent combination at times. His chin seems to be pretty sturdy, and to the best of my knowledge he's never been down in a fight. So I do think a healthy Chagaev could be a tough challenge for Wlad, though thats a big "If" at this point.

Wladimir needs an opponent and Dimitrenko would be a very solid one, and undefeated who has yet to get a title shot, I like this.
