I remember that fight like yesterday...and weren't you just saying that they wanted a rematch following the fight, but Steward told them to STFU...???

Again, Peter's all time greatest performance was after he faced WLAD KLITschko, not before.

Of course "Team Peter" said that at the press Conference. Peter himself never asked for it. When he won the Belt..... he was flat out asked "do you want to face Wlad?" he said "Ill fight anyone"....he was asked again "Do You Want to fight Wlad?"...he never said anything except..."who next"

I've seen plenty of interviews in which Peter said he wanted him.

In fact, didn't I have a thread about Peter wanting to end both of their careers...this revisionist history is a little too much for me right now.

...and yes, the James Toney rematch is Peter's greatest in rign performance.

Don King did not allow the fight Wlad vs. Peter II without options. And Wlad did not want to have something to do with King.

Obviously you haven't seen many Sam Peter fights. Peter looked MUCH better before he fought Wlad than in any fight afterwards.

Wlad sould fight either Povetkin or Dimitrenko and then the winner of the eventual Chagaev-Valuev and finally 'retire' (for a year) after a record breaking PPV Klit vs Klit
