No doubt. Everytime I rewatch it, it becomes more clear.

Watch how Wlad uses distance perfectly imposing his jab more aggressively than in his last few fights whilst at the same time arching his upper body back using his reach advantage setting up the 1/2 by blinding Chagaev with his jab - brilliant and very fluid & fast too!

Also make note of his foot movement which is far more sprightly than it was vs the walking statue of Hasim Rahman.

Bottom line is Wlad trained hard for Haye, tweaked his style in a way which would have been perfect to destroy Haye - and this isn't even taking into account Wladimir has a PhD so isn't silly enough to reveal his full repertoire to a watching David Haye - there's bound to be techniques he's no doubt saving for the 'mouthy one' that he didn't show June 20th.

There is nothing in Haye's toolset bar a sweeping lucky hook that's going to bother Wladimir. Nothing. I hope this fight gets made I'd love to see the disrespectful Haye KTFO! :happy

Of course not - re read my post. What I'm saying is the technique Wlad was using would offer Haye little option to do anything except get hit and thats not even taking into account the variation of style he's got worked out for Haye!. Crap, Mormeck was able to walk Haye down several times.

Even though Haye is smaller Wlad is FAR more athletic overall. The bigger man being more fleet footed than the smaller one is quite rare. Haye has no chance...........make the fight I say - I'm paying my mortgage with this baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haye wouldnt of stood still straight in front of Wlad and throwing no punches. Wlad reacts completley different once someone actually throws something and doesnt sit in a defensive shell waiting to quit.

Just look at Wlad against Thomson, he looked bad, not fluent or commanding. In fact when punches are thrown he looks downright panicy. Haye would move his feet to get in and out at angles.

Kos you crazy *******- FOTY easilly! You mean you've only watched it the one time when it was live?! Wlad is the most exciting fighter I have ever seen. I must have watched it 20 times as well.

Jeez, with Haye's head movement and speed how could he beat Wlad? He obviously bitched out of the fight.:bbb

Yeah he may well of beat Haye. But haye always had a punchers chance.
And **** me would the fight have been more interesting.
And dont read too much in to the Chag fight. I have seen turds with more movement.
And why you watching it again. Cant you sleep.?

But I just can't see Haye closing the distance quick enough whilst getting shots off I just cannot see it & unless he's turned into the most technically savvy boxer in the sport after Hopkins with stunning slips, footwork and counters overnight I just can't see it guys sorry :( There is no way he can win.

I hope this fight gets made though! Living in London with Haye being from here I could get decent odds on Wlad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if vlad was that reluctant against haye he would have got ktfo, think, if he goes back in straight lines then hes going to be ripped apart, chag didnt offer anything that fight it was plain to see

ps im fed up of klit fans eating **** like this up, im not a huge haye fan but i know when this stuff goes to far:verysad

Arching his upper body back, that's the whole point... Wlad can't fight on the inside with that muscled body and with that size of his - he has to lean backwards, extend that left leg and put most of the weight on his back foot so that he can throw one-twos all night long and have someone in trouble. If someone moves underneath and tries to throw a curved shot upwards, he leans all over you and breaks the action Lewis' style... Haye would have moved out of danger and would have lasted the distance, turning and giving angles to it, as long as he would have kept that left hand up.

I don't know who should be more insulted by the comparison, Chagaev or Haye.
