    I'd favor Wlad.
Unless Jay Nady or Mills Lane was reffing , in which case Ray Mercer would win by DQ.

The difference between the Mercer in the Lewis fight and Mercer in the Klit fight is hepatitis.
He was nowhere near the fighter he once was.

The Sam Peter of the other night was terrible even by his own standards. He was gassed after 3 rounds. Wlad had him hurt in the 2nd and laid off. Lewis doesn't lay off opponents, he takes them out.

Oh, and prime Peter also lost to ex-middleweight James Toney. What a fighter he is.

If Wlad gets stuck in an 18 foot ring like Lewis was against a prime Mercer he's in for a rough night and would inevitably be forced into situations where he had to fight back like Lewis did. I could see Wlad being hurt even dropped, how he responds to this would tell us what his chances of winning are. While second time round Wlad against Peter showed he is a different fighter he has not been taken outside of his comfort zone for a long time. Until I see this new Wlad pushed into a situation where he is hurt and able to remain composed and box smart then I'd favour Mercer.

But if Wlad faces Mercer in a larger ring where he will have more room to move I could see him winning comfortably on points in a competitive fight where Mercer has the odd good period every few rounds but gets outboxed for the remainder of the fight.

Mercer has already made acquaintence with what has to be seen as the best jab in heavyweight history in 2002.
