Wlad wrecks Joe, if we're honest.

Agreed, hes simply too big and too good of a pure boxer. He would keep Joe at the end of his punches and land power shots from the outside. Joe would look better against a fighter thats Wladimir's size but wide open like Valuev. Wladimir by early KO.

What about Wlad's terrible china chin?

Gotta go with Joe Louis, but i don't think it's all that one-sided. Only Sanders genuinely TKO'd Klitschko, after four knockdowns. He fought all 220lbs+ big, hard hitting men.

On the flip side, Louis has been KO'd by 190lbs men, dropped by Braddock, Galento, Baer, etc. No shame there consider the sick amount of fights he's had against contenders, but considering Wlad hits as hard as or harder than all of them and is very adept at moving, he has an upset chance.

Wlad pts, he isnt brave enough to let his hands go. Height, reach and jab win this for Wlad.

Doesnt prove anything though, Louis is one of the greatest heavys of all time and Klitschko, well, isnt.

Honestly, Joe Louis would probably knock Wlad out.

Vlad maybe drops Joe early, but Joe comes back and knocks him out. Look at Louis's record against big, strong hulking guys like Buddy and Max Baer, Abe Simon, Tony Galento. The big 230-250 pound guys hit the deck against Louis, permanent like. I see nothing about Vlad's chin, defense or conditioning level that makes me think he survives 15 or even 12 with Joe Louis.

Louis would knock Vlad out in the middle rounds after taking a trip or two to the canvas himself. Vlad is good, but Louis was great, and that's the difference between these two.

Look at the fighters who have put Vlad on his ass, now ask yourself does one of the greatest punchers ever stand a chance.

    Louis would be Wlads cryptonite.

He dosnt just have the offensive arsenal to take him out he also has the peed and delivery to ensure that he gets it to the target.

If I was going to match Wlad against ATGs with a view to him winning I would not start with Louis.

Why don't people understand that a fighter whos scared of getting starched against Ibragimov would have a nervous breakdown against Joe Louis, who was 10x the fighter Ibragimov ever was. :patsch

Louis would win, but don't you guys acknowledge that Vlad's sledgehammer right hand would have dropped Joe first? Look at how many times Louis was floored by lesser fighters than Vlad.

Sure, Vlad takes the count in this fight...but there would be some fireworks first.
