Wlad on Sky's Ringside Special

Yeah, I -like everybody else- had heard that he was let take an appalling beating, but I was still shocked when I saw the highlights. I saw Klitschko land a bunch of huge unanswered shots on a battered Briggs and I was sure it must have been right at the end of the fight for it not to be stopped. Then the graphic popped up and it was only round 7 or 8.

 

Wlad came across very well on the show.

 

I like Wlad. He's smart, thoughtful and very genuine it seems. It's a shame he's so safety-first in fights now. He has the tools to be thrilling.
