Vlad does not have a bad chin. Vlad was around 20 years old when he lost to Purrity, not because of his chin, but because he gassed out in the 11th round, but still could have finished the fight. He gave his corner hell for stopping that fight. Vitali went on and was the very first to knock Purrity out, he beat Purrity so badly that I felt sorry for him. Vlad went on to knock out Axel Schultz who beat the hell out of Foreman, Vlad was the first to stop Schultz. Against Sanders, that loss was because Vlad did not spar. Corrie Sanders was one of my favorite heavyweights, he was extremely fast, but early he was awesome, thus the nickname "The Sniper". Sanders would have won the gold medal, but was blacklisted from the Olympics because he was from South Africa. Sanders was in the best condition of his entire career, he had been preparing for a fight with Valouev in South Africa and was a southpaw...........fantastic natural talent.....................Vlad would have beaten him in a rematch, but Corrie would not fight him, later Vitali did fight him and beat the hell out of him. Because Sanders was blacklisted from boxing so much he never got to see his potential, the best Sanders was against Vlad................in the Brewster fight Vlad was drugged, there is a legit letter to the attorney Gen, Sen, McCain about the drugging, thus called the Judd letter. MRI showed no signs of a concussion, but the doctors were concerned about Vlad going into a diabetic coma. Vlad had never had high blood sugar, nor does he have it now, but many drugs cause high blood sugar. Vlad wanted to know what caused the problem, but not one, but two missing samples of blood and urine caused a lot of problems, two missing............I have never had any of my blood samples/urine missing. Vlad tried to get a rematch, but Don King knew that Vlad would knock Brewster out, and when the rematch finally did happen, he stopped Brewster easily, not losing any rounds at all because Vlad was superior and he was not drugged, they kept an eye on his water, any stolen ID's, etc., if that had happened to Mayweather, he would have raised pure hell, believe me...............Vlad was completely superior to Brewster. As far as running out of gas in that fight, watch his fight with Mercer, Vlad was the first to stop Mercer, threw more punches in that fight than he did in the first Brewster fight. Lewis could not do it, most thought Mercer beat Lewis. Watch Lewis hug Tua for 12 rounds............If you want to read a legit letter I can reproduce it right here once again, it is convincing to see what was going on. At that time there was an on-going FBI investigation into fight fixing, an attempt to bribe a Federal Judge, etc. Vlad has gone on to prove himself as the best heavyweight in the world today............Vlad has never been knocked out, he was TKO'd but never knocked out cold like Lewis was against Rahman, McCall had Lewis out on his feet..................Want to read the evidence? Want to read the legit letter? I can post it again right here, but you would not believe the truth anyway. The boxing media in America hates Vlad, but many are saying good things about him...........now.....................

I can't believe there are some people defending Wlad's stance on this.

Wlad is boring as **** as a pro, I can't stand him. The pro game allows him to clinch like a *****, in the amateurs he was forced to box and he was very good. He'd beat Tyson and Holyfield of 1996 in an amateur contest with ease. When Emmanuel Steward was with Lennox he told him that the Ukrainian heavyweight in the amateurs is his biggest threat. Wlad would get beaten himself now if he went back to the amateurs, his 'pro' (clinch to slow down his opponent) style wouldn't be tolerated and he'd get outboxed and outworked.

you had 35 year old Cubans fighting 18 and 20 year olds. You had grown men beating kids. How is that impressive? :huh

A few years ago he said that he wouldn't want to do it even if eligible and given a chance, now he's saying he would. I hope they won't allow pros to participate.

What I want to know is where are all these teenage Olympic super heavyweights?

I mean damn, Roberto Cammarelle rolling up in your high school as a student only happens in Hollywood where they routinely cast 30 year old actors to play the role of high school students.

Does it never end with this guy. How many more depths of dishonorable sportmanship will he sink to.

Leave him enter. He will be knocked out early.

Haye would of beaten Wlad if it was an amateur contest.

    Mezhidov(27), Dychko(23), Pfeifer(27), Cam Awesome(26) , Cammerelle(33), Omarov(22) Hrgovic(22), Con Sheehan(24) Joyce(28 ) Yoandi Toicac(19)

the thinking that fighters that stay in the amateur for ages are just beating up on tennagers is usually wrong but when applied to the current super heavyweight division it is complete bull****. All the top super heavywights in the world are all almost 23 apart from Toirac whos could be great.

America could have a decent heavyweight hope in Darmani Rock he looks quality

    Exactly.

That's why it was funny that people are acting like all these Olympic super heavyweights came in straight from the school bus stop. There's never been anyone younger than their early 20's that's won super heavyweight Olympic gold, and with some exceptions in either direction, it's a 20-something's sport.
