Whether there's a big reach difference or not, its clear that Wlad is a much more natural heavyweight, and Haye could have made a carrer as a 200lb'er, only giving Haye more credit for moving up to heavyweight and calling out the divisions best big men.
As much as I love Wlad, i know his style is boring... i expect another night of jabs throughout 12 rounds... thompson was bigger in terms of reach advantage and wlad outboxed, imagine what he will do to Haye
Will not be a boring fight to me and not to the many fans who buy all the tickets. Klitschko fights always sell out. I hate to say this, but Vitali and Vlad's reach is longer than is shown. It's not good to give out your reach, ask George Foreman.
The best heavyweight in the world should (and will) beat the best cruiserweight in the world. If not, then either the heavyweight is ****, or the cruiser is brilliant. In Holyfields case, his chin and the extra weight he somehow developed (not mentioning the R word) allowed him to compete at heavy. Haye has to overcome the chin issue, and the fact he's a smallish heavy. He does have a cracking punch, and a bit of speed to compensate. I think Wald stops him. Unlike Tony "Use my gloves as earmuffs" Thomson, I think Haye will go out on his shield trying, rather than turn into a statue after 3 rounds seeking to minimise punishment. That's what will give him a chance. Sanders cleaned Wlads clock by having some speed and a good punch, and Wlad is known to be a bit shaky when clocked, so who knows what will happen, that's what makes it fun. Wlads' been KD over a dozen times, it's not hard to see Haye doing it again. However, if Wlad lands 2 or 3 clean flush punches, it's over.
