Wlad or Lennox? Who had the...

Lewis better jab, when he could be bothered to use it. Vlad, better right hand.

 

I really don't think there is much to choose between them. I'd give Lennox a slight lead in power in his right hand.

 

Lewis had the more powerful right hand, and was the better all around fighter..

If they went head to head prime for prime Lewis would have knocked him colder than ice..

 

Lewis had the harder right...Wlad the better jab...Lewis would have embalmed Wlad.

 

Their right hand is neck and neck but Wlads left hook is in a whole different timezone...

 

Wlad's jab is a little quicker but Lewis' was heavier and longer so I'd say Lewis' is slightly better. Both sometimes neglected their jabs but Wlad paws with it even more than Lewis did.

Wlad's right hand from a technical stand point is better, it's practically flawless. He shoots it from the shoulder and so it's very hard to see coming. Lewis tended to often load up on the right hand so it's easier to anticipate but Lewis also generated more leverage because of this and so it was harder than Wlad's. So when comparing their right hands it comes down to if you prefer the better technique of Wlad or the superior force of Lewis'.

Wlad has a killer left hook and Lewis has a killer uppercut.

 

Jab is an easy call. Wald. Right hand is debatable. I'd also side with Wlad because it was faster, and Wlad could fire it with better accuracy. Power of the punch is about even.

Where Lewis has a clear edge is the uppercut.

 

I think most knowledgeable boxing fans would agree that Lewis had a better jab.

Saying that , Lewis didn't have a great jab himself.

So having a lesser jab to a guy who isn't a great jabber means your jab is mediocre at best.

What great jabbers has Wlad fought and beat?

His jab is mostly effective because people run into his out stretched arm . This makes people think he's a good jabber.

Calvin Brock out jabbed Wlad.

The Truth shut Berbick out using nothing but is excellent jab. He won every round and controlled every round with only his jab.

 

You can take it from me that Wlad has a useless jab and its only efficient because he's a huge guy who has a massive size advantage over his opponents.

Vladdy can't move and jab and the same time so how can he have a great jab:huh
