Wlad has plenty of fire. Otherwise he would have quit after 2004 when his brother told him too

I think Wlad defeats Lewis as well. Just based on styles. Lewis was taken out twice by right hands neither of which were as good as Wlad's. I know he came back and when motivated bested both conquerors (although McCall was in no shape to be allowed to fight). He beats McCall anyway. The fight that also influences my opinion is the Battle of Britain with Bruno. I view Bruno as Wlad light, not as big, or as good but similar in style and he gave Lewis alot of problems for six rounds nailing him with several right hands that I think are a bad sign for a fight with Wlad. To be fair that was pre-Steward.
Either way it's all up for debate. No way of ever really knowing, a great great trainer fixed both of them and we've had many years now of quality champions.
Anyone going to tomorrow night's fight?

It's certainly possible. Wlad's a lot lighter on his feet than Lewis ever was. It he has the initiative to take a chance when Lennox is out of position, fireworks could ensue. But he's not going to win by going the safety first route.

If he did have he would have rematched the two guys who starched him as Lewis did.

I reckon Wlad's a better version of Lewis, in many ways.
Tighter, more strict, disciplined in his approach.

As far as the power they generate, both of them are immensely powerful. It doesn't bear thinking about.

Lewis would be the aggressor here and Wlad would be sh*tting his shorts. Micheal Grant revisited .

He could. but the odds are that Lewis would be the one doing the **** kicking. But if Wlad lands clean, he could conceivably either KO Lewis or hurt him enough to finish him off a couple of minutes later.

Lewis could easily walk into a right hand if he was the aggressor and the fight would be over. Remember Vitali (and I don't care what his KO percentage is) doesn't punch nearly as hard as his brother and he found Lewis early and often.
Wlad is no Grant who came to the sport very late and was exposed by Golota right before Lewis bout.

Vitali hit Lewis with a few good shots but he never looked like going down
That was a career heaviest 37 years old Lewis .

I agree Wlad is the bigger hitting brother.

I can say that about Paul Smith , to a higher level - Froch.

Don't mean it would give them a better chance at beating Andre Ward.

Smith couldn't get past Arthur. I don't think Wlad has the boxing ability in a p4p sense as a Paul Smith.

Compared to Lewis Wlad has a weaker record and he still has to fight like this.

h2h2 Wlad spends too much time looking for clinches and throwing no punches at all. Lewis wastes no time. Golota part II

I have to go with Wlad in the jab department. It's his favourite punch and he makes the most of it. Lewis' jab was never that versatile.

When it comes to straight right hands, I'd favour Lewis. Wlads may be a little bit more polished, but Lewis was superior when it comes to position himself so he could land it with good impact.

Wk vs Lewis would be a boring snoozefest with both employing a safety style first, in the battle of the jab WK wins....

Lewis would never get agressive a la HBO hype Grant against a Steward WK...Lewis can be outjabbed and outboxed and WK is more of a natural athlete, the intangibles are that Lewis has the bigger ego and might be able to impose his will in a boring decision with both guys fighting with there rights ****ed but never trigger pulled.

Lewis didnt rely on jab as much as Wlad did. His jab was very good when he needed it. But his uppercut was a thing of beauty.
