Because Vitali can bring action, while Wlad has his working routine.
Jab jab straight right, it works. But it's boring.

    Vitali..

He throws more punches, and from different angles, Vitali has a more varied offense which is based on hitting the opponent as much as possible, where Wladimir is more about placing the punches and finding a place to land the big right hand.

Vitali is also much better when being under pressure, he can fight off his back foot, counter and fight his way out of jams.. Wlad's style is based on the jab and keeping his opponents away, if someone gets to the inside he will clinch..

Wladimir has a better resume, but i rate Vitali higher H2h and entertainment wise.

    hard to say.

Wlad is a genuinely great heavyweight champion and watching him is a great feeling knowing his legacy is being built and I'm here to see and witness it.

However he's too dominant and his fights are usually jab-right-grab until the opponent wilts. not great viewing.

Vitali is old and slow now, watching his fights is more interesting cos I'm thinking "surely he's gonna slip now".

Has a ref ever took a point off Wlad for excessive clinching?

I just saw Vitali vs Shannon Briggs on youtube. One of the better beatdowns if you ask me. Then I saw Vitali vs Charr, Vitali has gotten a lot slower in a very short period of time. And he was never that fast to begin with.

Shannon Briggs was a defenceless old man in that fight. An uncompetitive beating doesn't make for an exciting bout in my eyes. That it?
