wlads a great fighter but theres no doubt he holds for life when the fight moves to the close quarters. he just doesnt know how to fight on the inside. majority of the fight he was the one holding and leaning when inclose...FACT. but he is a great fighter overall
why the Hell would a 6'7" technical boxer fight on the inside with a guy that's 6'0" brawler? not to mention that by the mid rounds Wlad was doing a perfectly fine job of working in the clinch and getting in a few cheap upper-cuts.
Nice pics, great finish by Wlad, exactly what I wanted to have happen... I very much enjoyed seeing Chef in there post-fight congratulating the Champion as well.. Congrats on another victory, the both of ya's...
Nice pics. ****! the Drago bros look like there on something. There realy physical specimens.Especailly Wlad.
You need to go back and watch the fight again. I'm not against holding in a fight, it can be good strategy. However, in this particular fight it was PETER doing the majority of the holding. All of the times the ref kept telling Peter to let go and saying "Peter your hands are free". All of the times Peter's corner was telling him to hold. All of the times Wladimir kept trying to break the hold and push Peter away. You missed all of that?? This content is protected
I saw one flush right hook landed by Peter during a break. I think it happened in round 7 or 8. Wlad looked a bit surprised but didn't retreat. Instead he said something to Peter and seemed to get even more aggressive after that punch. Did anyone else see that?
