HBO was going to show Wlad if he fought Jennings. HBO is going to buy the Povetkin fight also. Lack of opponents is the issue.

HBO has shown Vitali 4 times in his comeback.

Sorry, but they clearly stated they want to showcase Wlad against Jennings and Povetkin. Haye will NEVER be on HBO again.

 

They considered it only for an undercard slot to Mayweather..He did not deem him worthy enough for a headline slot. HBO want no part of him.

 

Who cares if a fighter is on HBO or not? It is NOT an indication for the greatnees of a fighter.

There is no vendetta or conspiracy from TV networks against Wlad, if people wanted to watch him fight then HBO, Showtime etc would put him on in a heartbeat, the networks just want to put out whats popular and makes them the most money. Outside of Germany and Eastern Europe, Wlad is not popular, people find his fights boring and therefore do not tune in in enough numbers to make him financially viable for the networks. It is as simple as that.

 

He's pretty popular, maybe not well liked but he is fairly high profile (by boxing standards), certainly much more so than Wlad.

He is only known by boxing fans. Nothing more. Here the news dont even say that he fights today. So no he is not very known in europe. Maybe a little in UK but thats it.
