Had me baffled too, it's not like Sultan even looked like he had the power to trouble WALD, he just looked like a white Chris Byrd, without the wife with the big trap.

I could understand WALDS caginess against PETERS but this guy :huh

I have questioned Wlads chin for years now, but I think the fear of getting hit is his biggest problem. It seemed everytime Iggy got close to landing, Wlad look horrified, the same way he looked against Peter, Sanders, and Brewster. My only really guess is, in the gym he might been floored by a sparring partner and lost some of his confidence in his chin, who knows, that's just my theory.

Chris Byrd was an all time great who was on his road to total dominance of the heavyweight division until WALDO stopped him in his tracks. Please wash your mouth/keyboard before posting again.

Setting up combinations does not consist of constantly moving backwards the whole fight ducking down. He was playing on counter punching, and anything but setting up his own arsenal, each time he attempted at anything that looked like an offensive attack he was negated by Klitschko's sharp jab. The most meaningful punch that Ibragimov landed was a punch to the body.

So here we have in Klitshcko distributing great defensive skills with one of the greatest jabs of recent memory.

Not trying to hang from his balls but that is the truth.

This is BS HRH. A LOT of fights go all the way and do not come off as being a bit boring. Fights do NOT need to end with a KO to be entertaining. But that seems to be what you and many other K fans are rationalizing.

You guys think a lot of people are HATING simply because it didn't end in KO. Nothing could be further from the truth. Fights CAN go the distance and still have enterttainment value. Last night, Wlad's did not. Sure some posters are saying ****, but the better posters agree Wlad did what he had to to win, but that's it. And it wasn't a masterpiece of boxing by any means as some are saying.

So it seems as if you are some kind of ******. What you might've intended on saying did not formulate in what you actually wrote. Get some practice in constructing your thoughts in legit words that make sense, until then dont quit your day job.

Samuel Peter managed to land only a handful of meaningful punches on Wlad. And two of them were behind the head. The only meaningful punch came at the end of round 3, and in round 10 when he legitely knocked him down, and some exchanges in round 12, other then that Sam Peter was schooled the whole night.

He said he thought Wlad never LACKED any versatility, but that last night he didn't show any. Wlad's never had a wide array of punches he threw. He's used what was successful for him, and that's basically three punches.

There is no question that he was overly cautious in this fight. Although that should not be something to discredit him on. This is the only fight where he has fought like that. It meant a lot to him to unify, and he did not want to take any risks at all. Like i said earlier, win tonight look good another time. It's not like Wlad is an overall boring fighter, there is always excitement when viewing his fights.

Klitschko actually landed some insane right hands during the fight on Ibragimov but the man just needs to be praised for being able to take such shots, you saw what happened to others.

Would throwing his right more often or doubling on a jab that was landing at will be a huge RISK to you? :huh

Yet Peter only lost by 3 points on all three of the judges scorecards, most people would say the fight was pretty close and very competitive at times. Wlad was hurt a hanful of times in this fight, and went into a panic attack twice because of the pressure Peter put on him. Peter was the last oppenent to give Wlad serious problems in the ring, why you say? Because he pressured a fighter that doesnt like to be hit, so fared better than 90% of the other fighters Wlad has already faced. I think it's safe to say now, Wlad has hard time handling pressure fighters, and every time he has, he hit the canvas and panicked.
