Very predictable, typical Wlad fight. Wlad freezes the much shorter Haye at the end of his power left jab and stuns him with it. If and when Haye gets brave and tries to charge Wlad, the talented giant moves back and to the side jabbing and measuring Haye with his vaunted right. First decent right cross or left hook that lands on Haye finishes Haye off. He either gets sparked out or gives up mentally like all the rest and takes a pummelling until he quits on his stool in the later rounds. Wlad is that damned good.
:huh:huh I can't remember one significant punch landed by Chambers the entire fight, or by Chagaev in their fight, etc....
I had read that too...but the statement of Haye being his 49th KO caught my eye, considering he has 48 now.
Perhaps, but I don't think so. Haye is really fast and has way more pop than Chambers. Wlad knows this and would fight even more reluctant than last Saturday. Wlad would bore us for 10 rounds with his JABberwockee, before Haye would get TKOed. I doubt Haye had the stamina to blitz Wlad in the later rounds, and in the early ones Wlad would simply keep him at bay without countering.
Haye is not, repeat not, as much of a draw as either Klitschko.:nono Haye also holds the highly tainted WBA belt which he barely won. That belt should be Wladimir's property already since he beat Chagaev, who beat Valuev easier than haye did. Wladimir has succesfully defended his IBF, WBO, IBO & Ring Mag Belts multiple times and he sells out 50,000+ seat stadiums in Germany even if he's fighting Mickey Mouse.
Both Klitschkos are more well known than Haye in the USA. The main problem is the casual boxing fans in the USA think they're both the same guy................
Your probably right. The Klits are more known in the usa. Though the reason for casual fans not being into the Klits, is that the UFC is the craze among 20 something and 30 something yearold guys. The same guys who grew up watching enertaining heavyweights like Tyson and Holyfield. Where now they have two relatively boring heavyweights, that they can't identify with or get excited over. Just my opinion.
So, I guess Wlad UD 12 over Povetkin is the safe bet now? When people complain that he's not going for the kill, he can turn and say he's saving 49 for Haye.
