Wlad-Povetkin: HBO, Showtime Both Interested

So anybody who scores a fight is a boxrec warrior. You didn't prove anything. You just saw the fight differently to me and my assesment rings more true than your ridiculous comparison to the Huck fight...You think you got something on me and you're holding on to it for your life. Wlad - Povetkin? I think Povetkin will have his moments in the first half, land a couple flurries. Povetkin's problem is he boxes in spurts, with long periods of inactivity which is deadly vs. Wlad. His sloppy defense doesn't help neither. Wlad should be able to take Povetkin's attacks by just grabbing him and tying him down. Then Wlad's own jabs and bombs will keep on coming and Povetkin will get knocked out or quit on his stool in the early 2nd half is my guess.

They haven't picked it up yet. Im having doubts about this fight going ahead anyway. No promotion, presser, interviews, only Wlad moaning about going to Russia.

Fight is 2.5 months away... presser is coming soon. First one will be in Russia. I cant remember the date wlad told me but if I remember right, it will be end of this month

i dont even see sasha having any joy past the 3rd..his defence and lack of any head movement will see him eating rights early which should send him on his tracks..looking forward to it tho..povetkin should be in great shape..4-7 kayo for me

 

Somebody who thinks it resembled Huck, CLEARLY didn't watch the fight. .

 

They didn't pick up his fight after Haye because Wlad fought to scared and bored everyone to death. I don't see them picking up this fight unless they do see something in Povetkin. But to be honest most people here does not know who either guy is. HBO has lost lots of money because of Wlad. I still say this fight will not happen. Wlad is going to find a way out one way or the other. But like we seen what he said the other day about hoping Povetkin does not pull out. He wants to pull out and make it look like Povetkin did it. No way Povetkin pulls out. He is fighting in his home country and he gets to choose the ref that will not allow the iilegal holding. If the fight does happen I look for it to be on Epix.

 

Just because the presser is coming up does not mean Wlad wont pull out like he did Chisora.

 

How come we never see Wlad on HBO??????? Haye and Fury will be on HBO btw. Haye is the money man in the heavyweights right now.

 

I hope it's on HBO because I don't have Showtime. (Can't afford both.)

 

No need to worry just watch it online on Epix.

Povektin right now is at a lake in the middle of nowhere preparing , so why would Wlad say those things to the media.
Povektin is coming gunning for them belts and will drag Wlad into trench warefare where he dont like to be.
An undefeated fighter with his country backing him is a huge risk and k2 know it.
