Povetkin has to collect some blame for the clinching also, he should have been throwing more on the way in but mostly bore forward head down which is always going to lead to cliches

 

As a Wlad fan I've gotta say even I was annoyed by Wlad's jiujitsu throws throughout the fight. However, Pofatkin dive-bombing Wlad's chest with his bigass head again and again didn't help either.

 

what? you think trying to get inside means he's initiating the clinches? the only way to initiate a clinch is to be the one to clinch
