He can promise all he wants but he's been ingrained with this type of fighting for 10 years, an old dog can't learn new tricks, he'll involuntarily fight the way he knows and has.

He doesn't need new tricks, he just needs to swing those fists onto Fury's big ugly noggin. Knock the bum out.

I believe Wlad is shot and has been for some time.

It was masked because pulev fought him in a phone booth.

Old school wlad cuts off the ring and ktfo Jennings.

And he would have done the same against fury.

He just can't love like he used to

Agreed with everything you said, Vlad unfortunately is not like his brother he doesn't seem to be able to change his style when it's not working and that same style that has made him a dominant champion will be the same style that leads to his demise ultimately

Would be cool to see Wlad box his ass off one last time and KO Fury, then ride off into the sunset.

If he lets his hands go then Fury is going to tag him a lot. Their last fight wasn't a case of Wlad being afraid for no reason. Fury was just simply good enough to always be able to threaten him with counter punches.

That said, I don't know which is worse, Wlad's chin or Fury's power. Fury can almost never knock anyone out, so who knows, maybe Wlad will be able to withstand and get some actual good shots off.

But Wlad's showing against Jennings was enough to tell me Wlad is shot.

I hope they both let their hands go, their first match barely registered as an actual fight so little leather was thrown.

I'll be surprised if Wlad can change his style again so quickly. It took him half a decade to realise his style was wrong for him and learn how to become a spoiler, to switch again so quickly would be remarkable.

Maybe Fury was the reason Wlad didn't let his hands go :think

The first fight was a massive stinker, the press conferences so far have been very odd and weird. If the rematch becomes a borderline exciting fight it would be a huge surprise IMO.

Wlad is not shot. Wlad lost to Fury because Wlad has low ring IQ and can not adapt. He relies solely on style that relies on being the bigger man and holding to wear down smaller men. Any big men he fought, were all extremely slow (except Sanders and Fury)
He looked less than his best against Jennings because the ref enforced the rules and did not let him use the jab and grab.
Fury has decent speed and is a bigger man. This nullified the jab and grab. Without the jab and grab, and nullified any of Wlad's outside game. Wlad was lost. Wlad could not get any punches off because he had someone with reach, that could not be clinched into submission.
