For the record, just because the fight is in Russia doesn't mean the testing should be done in Russia as well. Quite the contrary actually. That's why usually the judges and the ref aren't Russian, especially if one of the fighters is from Russia. By having one of the fighters fight in their home country they already enjoy a "home field advantage." See what I mean?

But with regards to testing, that makes no sense whatsoever.

K2 fight in Germany - Yet they use German testing organisations.

American fights us USADA or VADA - Both American testing organisations.

Wlad and Povetkin are due to fight in Russia. Hence, I don't see why they should be insisting on a GERMAN testing organisation :S
