Dude, your criticism should be levied at the newspaper article - NOT people reading it.

i did read it.and basiclly the same one over at the scene..and i understood what wlad meant..not that he was about to give him a title shot..but that he was on his radar (esp with the fact he was in the uk doing the ****ing interview)and that if he keeps winning and impressing down the line wlad will take him on.basiclly what price said himself in 18 months time he wants a shot all being well...but of course that means klit wants a go at price at this early stage lol topped up with barry mcguigan talking shite on ringside..it amazes me how easily people soak up crap from other people and cant make their own judgements

Not much for Wlad to choose from these days.

Gotta keep that in mind, too. He's already cleaned house once, and is now going back over them again.

At least Price, although still untested and greenish, would at least be better than another thrashing of his past victims.

But I agree in that Price is not going to take a fight this early. He probably knows that'd be too wreckless at this point.

    :deal

Larry Holmes defended his title against a lot of green fighters in the pathetically weak 80s era.

    Ossie Ocasio = 13 fights
    Leon Spinks = 14 fights
    Tim Witherspoon = 15 fights
    James Smith = 15 fights
    Carl Williams = 16 fights
    David Bey = 14 fights
    Marvis Frazier = 10 fights
