Wlad wants to fight Haye at the garden if it's in the US. Msg in a big mega heavyweight fights belongs there.

If Wlad is willing to fight at Wembley then I don't understand the issue. Haye gets to fight at home and doesn't have to give up any %s like he would in US or Europe.

Haye is the bigger draw PPV wise but as Wlad is the champ and would fight away then 50-50 is more than fair.

Could even add in that if Haye were to beat Wlad he would get a larger share if he chose to fight Vitali.

Lets see if Haye really believes in himself!

I remembering the seats were higher then that for ring side, nose bleeds were over a 1000, but you also forgot about 50,000 brits showed up in vegas for the fight, i know, i was there in vegas, i went to close circuit, almost everybody you bumped into on the street was britsh, you were at a poker table they were all british. Now your saying that hayes has this sort fan devotion that ricky has, i doubt it,,,,No it is about demand an supply, the demand will be bigger in UK an germany, so the tickets will be higher, even at a bigger venue that seats 70,000. I hate to say it but hayes is not that well known in USA, except on esb, i mean i have few friends i talk to sports about, hayes just dosn't sink in. He should of came an fought on Khan undercard, sure he would only drawn about 5 extra fans.

Casinos do pay to have fights there, in the millions, an i am sure they can sell out 20,000 seats. But i find it hard to believe this what is stopping the fight from happening, why would wlad fight in London an not las vegas. Have you ever seen some of those english refs in action, they can be down right crimminal, what do you think it is that is stopping the fight in vegas, what :huh

WOW.. this fight is getting MAD PUBLICITY!.. They'll definitely get the money out of all of you and me as well.... That's how you sell a fight..

But to go with the thread.. MSG or London would be great....

This will definintely be 24/7 HBO PPV

We all know that's not very likely to happen, after the Ibragimov fight. That fight alone killed heavyweight boxing in America and, since then, MSG have shown little interest in boxing. I would love the fight to be in MSG but I don't think it's likely at all.

In Boente's recent comments, he's said that it won't be in America at all, which is a huge shame. I would love to travel to America for this one and it deserves the big stage that MSG and Vegas can provide. The only place to match Vegas or MSG, would be Wembley in front of 90,000.

I don't know if Wlad's decision to not have the fight in Vegas is stemmed from the Brewster fight, but his very next fight he fought was in Vegas!

I would prefer Vegas, because this fight will be so much bigger.

If Vegas can't be done, then London is the next best choice IMO.

I would love to see that!

Better than the New Year's day hockey game that they're doing 24/7 for.

Wlad vs Haye is the biggest hw fight that everybody wants to see since Lewis vs Holyfield 1 or Lewis vs Tyson in which those 2 fights wasn't in vegas (Lewis vs Holyfield rematch was in vegas but it was mainly cause Lewis don't want to get robbed again in nyc.)

And Jack, I guarantee that the commissioner or anyone that involved in nyc will love to have Wlad vs Haye in msg. It's the biggest hw fight since Lewis vs Tyson and Lewis vs Holyfield 1.

MSG is in the money making buisness, if i wanted to promote two fighters with 1-10 records for the main event, an was willing to put up the money. MSG would say OK, all they have worry about is if there is a event there that night,,,hockey, basketball or somthing else.

If wlad wanted to rematch sultan in MSG, they would say OK,,,it sold out last time, that means alot of beer an hotdogs sold, an more then likly, but not certain, 9 dollars a piece, that is alot of dough, plus parking, an every othere BS they make money off of. so the sultan fight ruined any chance of wlad haveing a fight there, yea MSG just might pass up on a few million on some sort of princpal :yep:yep

Why would MSG want it though? We all know it would be a big fight, but it's unlikely the fight would sell out there because of the reception to Wlad/Ibragimov. In NYC, Wlad has a tarnished reputation and the fact is, the fans are going to see him like they did last time, because of that awful performance. If the fight gets made there, you can guarantee the New York Times and all other media outlets, constantly refer to the Ibragimov fight and mention how bad it was.

It would be hard to sell out there, I think. At least there would be a solid British fanbase there though.

    They should fight in Vegas

    less fans

but more money higher priced seats huge site fee paid up , GBP having a say in promotion and thrown on HBO as is their deal also if they want USA tv money they would have to fight at like 3am in Europe

    and it is neutral

they also need to have Jay Nady as the ref so no hugging , a pure fist fight

Plenty of reasons to have it there I doubt MSG would want it after the last wlad fight, I think they have his picture up saying "dont let him in"

Something tells me Will Farrell and Brad Pitt will not be spending $10,000 to watch Klitschko fight Haye. More than likely, many of those super expensive seats will go unsold.

Europe is the best place for a live gate for this fight. No doubt about it.

Sultan ran the whole fight, he didn't want to get ko'd, can't blame wlad for that. Plus there is a huge eastern europe community there, they will show up out of loyalty.. An hayes might just help with those ticket sells. I got to believe, as long as it is in major citys or vegas, the USA will sell out 20,000 seats, don't know if it would sell out more.
Now it wouln't hurt to have a good undercard either,
