I already factored that in, and it still so few Americans care about heavyweight boxing that they wouldn't tune in to watch a championship match.

Everything I said in my post is true, I remember when Vitali was at the peak of his popularity when fought Danny Williams on PPV in dec. of 04. It did horrible numbers, so I really dont think the Klits have much of a fan base in the states, and their numbers are consistantly showing that.

That was because barret pushed him across the ring because he was seriously hurt.

Your right, in Germany their superstars. Though the rest of the globe has very little interest in either Klit, but who cares there still getting huge paychecks I guess.

The sates are not the only fan base in the world... the world is a big place and the US has become irrelevant in the HW division. IMO thats more of the issue then the Klitschkos being the champs and the US fan base doesnt like them..... boxing is THRIVING in so many other countries. Boxing numbers have been down in the US for years:deal

 

You are always going to get that on here. if you said the sky is blue some dick will turn up and claim otherwise.
Im taking nothing away from Wlad. The guy is the champ end of story.
He has earned it.
I wont watch him because his style is boring but it wins him fights so why change it just for me. (just my opinion)
But you are being just as bad as the people you are cascading by slagging off Haye over his injury.
Now i know for a fact that Klit has recieved medical evidence proving that Haye is injured and will be available to fight from the 18th.
And you of all people should also be aware of this (being part of the klit camp and all) yet you are on these message boards claiming otherwise.
Haye is entitled to his opinion and that opinion seems to mirror what a lot of boxing fans think. And that is that Wlad is a boring fighter.
And Wlad is a fighter currently reigning in the worst heavy weight division for years.
Not Wlads fault i know but it is fact.
Its about time both sets of fans stopped the rumour mongering (because that is what it is) and gave both fighters a bit of respect.
Wlad is the heavy weight champ and Haye is the Cruiser weight champ who has stepped up to breath some life in to a very dull division.
Is it really that big a deal.?
