Wlad says he'd rather fight chambers next!

Chambers shows that he is a very good Heavyweight! He won in germany against Dimitrenko with great boxing skills and he is fast.

Wlad will destroy Chambers, no doubt about it, but this shows Wlad´s class, not that Chambers is a bum.

 

I would pick this fight as a toss-up. An in-shape Chambers is a lot quicker than Wlad, and he has a great chin, especially for a little guy.

 

The paparazzi camera man Tyson knocked out in front of his house was more solid competition than the three fighters above.

From what we hear from Povetkin he wants to do at least one more tune-up before he feels he can challenge Wlad. So Wlad can hopefully fight Chambers in Oct without getting into trouble with the IBF. Then hopefully Povetkin in Spring 2010.

 

Povetkin has already beaten Chambers. Vlad can't wait on Povetkin to fight tune-up so he will fight Chambers ASAP.

So.........Povetkin and Chambers are not complaining about contract. Haye is the only opponent of Klitschkos who has complained about contract. Ever wonder why? Haye did not qualify for title shot, at least Povetkin and Chambers fought a top ten heavyweight.

 

Yeah, he got the win, but it wasn´t cause he was the better fighter. In the first few rounds Chambers made Povetkin look like a novice and then he simply stopped boxing. Chambers has much better skills than Povetkin. Klitschko is off course the huge favourite and i tend to agree that Wlad is simply too much for Chambers. I thought the same of Dimitrenko though and then the big man got schooled by Eddie.

 

Chambers and Povetkin have both earned their shots. Remember Povetkin won that IBF eliminator tourney?

They both are the most credible opponents for Wlad right now. It is highly likely he will hammer both of them into a bloody mess and then half of ESB will say what bums they were and how Wlad is ducking the best contenders LOL

btw when you talk ko% if you take out all the tkos where the opponent was just getting hit too much and was losing every round, and just use real ko's where someone was physically annihilated... its CLEAR tyson was much more powerful than either of these robots

So Chambers suddenly decided to stop boxing? Povetkin made him do that. Indeed Cahmbers took the first few rounds but Povetkin came back and showed Chambers how he should have been treated.

That said: Povetkin will lose against Wlad :yep

That said: I'd put a little money on Povetkin to lose against Chambers if they rematched.

 

Povetkin is nothing special at pro, he has a high workrate and that´s it. Chambers was easy in control early on and then he didn´t show much in the later rounds. Povetkin fought at a high pace, but so did Derrick Rossy when he fought Eddie and Eddie was able to deal with it. Imo the loss to Povetkin was more a mental/conditioning problem.
