Great news, i was never one that found the heavyweights boring. There were always interesting fights, but this one is the best since Vitali - Lewis. It will be interesting to see if Wlad will be able to play it safe, or if the skilled Haye has enough tools to make it a war. Also a one punch knockout seems to be a very possible outcome.

This is the fight we all been waiting for in the Heavyweight division, the last time Wlad had a tough fight was against the hard hitting Sam Peter back in 05, since then he has fought mostly fought fighters well past their primes Bryd and Rahman, and fighters who never deserved to be their in the first place, in fighters like Austin and Thompson.

I cant wait to see this fight, they both have heavy hands and weak chins, someones defintely getting Ko'd come June 20.

Byrd was a champion, Thompson was a mandatory for 365+ days.
Rahman was a last minute replacement.

He also forgot the undefeated top contender Calvin Brock, the undefeated WBO Champion Sultan Ibragimov, and Lamon Brewster.

You should talk Widdow, your always posting basically the same ****, day in and day out. I'm very excited about this fight, and for once I give Wlad credit for stepping up to the plate when his number was called.

Indeed, and I've read ridiculous threads on how Lamon Brewster fight was a joke etc.

I mean, c'mon.. he avenged a loss and gave Brewster a chance that Lamon will forever be greatful for.

After Haye gets rather easily disposed of, watch them come up with another excuse. This **** will never end.:-(

I know, he fought Bryd back in March or April of 06 for the IBF belt, I cant fault him for that. The Thompson fight was a mandatory, as was the Austin fight, but the only difference was, it took him 2 rounds to finish lame ass Austin, and over 9 rounds to finish the lack luster Thompson, and dont even get me started with the fact it took him 8 rounds to finish the extremely weak chinned Rahman.

I am forced to repeat the same **** because I have to keep "punishing" posters like you with the same facts over and over again.

You keep saying this "finally" and "for once" nonsense... explain yourself for once in your damn life. When has Wlad FIALED to step up to the plate when his number was called?

    So what?

Mike Tyson failed to stop a drug addict named James Smith, took him 9 rounds to finish off a ridiculous Jose Ribalta. He failed to finish off a cowboy in James Tillis whom Morrison decked with one left hook.

What is your point exactly? He's extremely dominant, neither Rahman or Thompson came close, ever to winning their fights with Wladimir.

Just because he's a great champion, he has to KO1 all of his opponents?

WHAT ABOUT Hawkins vs. Peter?! A c-class fighter even Maskaev stopped.
