    First of all, i was very surprised to learn that a fight between Hate and Vital K could be on. I would prefer Haye fighting Wladimir because i feel he has more chance to win (still, small chance). And why the hell would Vitali have to drop his belt? I mean for christ sake, fight! Fight Gomez in spring and Haye in summer! The only reason i see is because Vitali is scared to get injured again. Then retire if you dont wanna fight!

    Honestly, i would be mad at my brother if i was Wladimir. You come back after 4 years, get a title shot, win the belt, then get the biggest possible fight in HW division? WTF! Wlad won'T get that big fight after Vitali kos HAye....I mean, who deserves it better?

    Vitali should fight Gomez. The fact is that Gomez would probably beat Haye, so Vitali is making the smart business decision, but it sucks for boxing IMO

    Wlad himself seems perfectly happy with it, but I was saying during the build-up to Peter-Vitali that it was a real shame for him professionally.

    After the losses to Sanders and Brewster, Wlad spent years working hard and making his way up the ladder again. Meeting the challenges and overcoming them, keeping in shape, trying to improve, fighting the fights and finally getting himself in the spotlight that people had him pegged for back in 2002.

    Then bam, along comes big brother again and with one fight, he's got the WBC belt back and people are viewing him as the real uncrowned champ.

    Talk about stealing your thunder. Like I say, Wlad adores his brother so doesn't seem to mind, but it looked like we were going to see The Man...and instead we got The Men.

    Agreed. Wlad has publicly stated that Haye is 'crazy' i.e. Wlad is scared of Haye.

    Wlad will probably get Valuev then. And that fight will be huge also.

    Hum..on ESB?

    Bernd Boente, the manager of the two Klitschkos: "I think that this fight is bigger than the belt and, if the WBC does not see sense (not letting Vitali bypass Gomez), then we would go ahead with it without the WBC belt."


    Maybe i did choose the wrong words. Not "have to" but "decides to"
    Is that fine now?

    Not as huge.
    Both fights are big OUTSIDE USA.
    Haye Wlad woudl also be a big USA seller.

    ANd Valuev has to fight both Hollyfield :)patsch) and Chagaev before...

    At least the four biggest name heavyweights will be fighting eachother.

    I didn't know the Gomez thing had been adressed by anyone. Thanks.
    I think/hope the WBC will allow the fight to be for the belt, and for Gomez to get the winner. Makes all kinds of sense.

    DO you really believe that or you just hate?
    I mean, and this is an old debate, do you really think any top professional fighter is scared of another (enough to not take a big money fight)?

    Wlad can't be fighting everyone at the same time anyways... He still needs to fight Povetkin if he's ready, then comes his next mandatory which HBO will push to be Chris Arreola.. So if Wlad fights Haye it's by the end of 2009 (most likely December) and it's because Haye created the upset over Vitali !!
