this.... someone give this man an award. That's exactly the point I made and this numbnuts wanted to call my post ******ed. I'm a little hurt to be frank.
The whole point of pound for pound is to see who's the best regardless of weight class. I seriously doubt Wlad would be as good as Floyd Mayweather if he were a WW.
This thread makes me think that the term "pound for pound" has lost all meaning. For some reason, people don't remember what the term originally meant, which was to determine the best regardless of weight class. Pulev is NOWHERE NEAR as good as Timothy Bradley P4P. A HW will NEVER be #1 P4P. Could you ever see say, Lennox Lewis, doing what Pernell Whitaker did? I didn't think so.
Pacman has wins against two guys in the top 10. Does Wladatsch The guys Wlad beats are about 100 spots outside the p4p top 10.
One punch power, fast hand and foot speed, great ring generalship, and a high skill level. At welterweight, I could see Wlad being another Tommy Hearns.
Wlad looks better fighting bigger opponents than smaller ones. Most of his fights with opponents being taller than 6'3 usually end up in a knockout.
WTF is Ward still on the list? His claim to fame is winning a tournament back in 2011. Froch has been way more relevant over the last 3 years.
