Wladimir Klitschko sucks! Never was any good to begin with. I mean, the guy lost in 2 rounds to Corrie Sanders for goodness sake. How can we ever forget that? The fact that Tyson Fury needed 12 rounds to beat an older and a more faded version of Wladimir Klitschko whilst barely able to land any damaging punches proves how grossly horrible and low quality of a boxer Fury is. The fact that Joshua needed 11 rounds to stop an older and a more faded version of Wladimir Klitschko less convincingly proves how horrible he also is, like Fury.

Rounds 5 and 6 Wlad was definitely going for the kill and wasn't holding back. Round 7 he didn't do much, he had a vulnerable Joshua who was still hurt and not throwing much there to be taken but he did little but jab and throw the odd speculative power shot, he never really sustained an attack in the 7th like he did in the 5th or 6th rounds.

Now was that due to Vitali telling him to hold back or was that simply due to the fact Wlad was a spent force and needed to recover from the effort in the last 2 rounds where he had to pick himself up off the floor and was trying for the KO. Wlad definitely looked tired in the 7th, no guarantee he could of gotten the KO had he forced it.

By the 8th Joshua was beginning to recover and Wlad's chances of a stoppage had passed. From then on we saw the difference age makes. Where Wlad's work rate diminished slightly, Joshua started to raise his. Youth prevailed as it often does in a close fight.
