Better than the level of competition that Holmes fought, better than many of the competition that Tyson fought................even the lowest guys on the list that SeeMeBlow listed are better than say Peter McNeely or Tex Cobb.

Heaven forbid! Why should Haye want to prove himself worthy when he apparently thinks he can ****-talk his way into a title fight instead. This way he doesn't have to worry about his china chin getting checked before he gets his big payday.

Could be a fun match. Someone is getting knocked out, that's for damn sure.

Hasim Rahman - Shot, glass jawed joke, living solely off of catching an underprepared Lewis with one punch, was destroyed in the rematch and lost every big fight since.

Tony Thompson - Decent operator because of his southpaw stance and height, but doesn't have any great wins, decent ones over Krasniqi, Vaughn Bean and Timor Ibragimov only, very average wins.

Sultan Ibragimov - Fair enough, he unified against a champion. Not a great one though, somehow managed to draw with Ray Austin. Boring and uninspiring fight aswell, Ibragimov froze on his big occassion and barely even tried.

Lamon Brewster - I like the guy a lot, but he came into the Klitschko fight on the back of a defeat to an average Lyakhovich and 15 months of inactivity. Not great either.

Ray Austin - Awful fighter, barely managed to scrape a draw with a shot Larry Donald, best win is over Owen Beck via split, who just come off a stoppage loss to Monte Barrett.

Calvin Brock - Decent fighter, pretty good win over Jameel McCline, decent win over Timor Ibragimov. Over matched at world level though.

Chris Byrd x2 - Another good fighter. Ranks among Wlad's best wins. Barely a heavyweight though, but credit for his 2 wins over Byrd.

Sam Peter - Big hitting but largely unproven, sloppy, slow, plodding fighter. Brother Vitali destroyed a much improved version after 4 year lay off, Wlad edged a decision.

Francois Botha - Awful, completely overmatched at world level.

Ray Mercer - Decent fighter, past is best.

    Fabio Moli - Awful again.

Charles Shufford - Awful, largely unproven, found out to be nothing more than a journeyman afterwards.

Jameel McCline - Another fighter I like, but underachieving and hardly world-class, another who lacks the cutting edge at world level.

Derrick Jefferson - Awful, not one good win on his record, knocked out twice in last three fights prior to fighting Wlad, yet still managed to get a title shot.

Not you again, Numbskull. Still sucking Wlad's **** I see. LOL! Thompson, Moli, Austin and Castillo aren't even EPO Wlad's worst comp and you know this. That's pretty pathetic. But for argument sake let's examine EPO Wlad's best opp:

    * Chris Byrd - blown up SMW/Lt HW that couldn't break an egg

    * Sam Peter - inexperienced plodder, nothing more

    * Lamon Brewster - undersized one hit wonder

    * Ray Mercer - once a good fighter but washed up and past his prime who was recovering from hepatitis

    * Corrie Sanders - ooops :shock::rofl

Yeah, EPO Wlad fought some stellar world beaters. Out of the top 5, Sanders is far superior in skill (with the exception of Mercer) and size than any of Wlad's opposition yet Sanders was a mediocre HW during his prime. :rofl

I see that nobody has even attempted to answer this question. That shows everything that anyone needs to know.

The Sam Peter Wlad beat was much better than the Sam Peter Vitali beat. WLad beat a very hungry Sam Peter. Vitali beat a ruined unmotivated Sam.

Vitali didn't beat a ruined unmotivated Sam Peter, that's what he turned him into within the first couple of rounds. Vitali did that.

The Peter who fought Vitali was a more rounded fighter than the one who Wlad beat, still crap, but atleast he had developed a jab.

depends if you count it in wins, there is a guy who has fought much better guys but he has lost most of the fights.
