It's not a PPV event - it's the promoter who decides this term and Wlad's contract with HBO is that well so he don't need the PPV numbers - he gets $2.5 Mio from HBO and RTL each...plus alot of money from Russia and Ukraine...hell, he must get about $10 Mio for each fight without being a PPV event...
And once he has his second belt, I bet his earning power will spike, too. http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/trurl_pagecontent?lp=ru_en&trurl=http%3a%2f%2fpro-box.ru%2fsobitiya%2fnews%2f15451.php
i dont think there will be a televised undercard, looking at it Pavlik/Taylor are fighing the week before, they will probably show a replay of that!!
I cant see how this fight can be PPV, especially in america where not many people even know who Wlad is or even more so pay to see him fight. As a guy who loves watching Heavyweight fights, I probably wont even get this fight if its on PPV if its 40-50 bucs. I think this fight will not only be a one sided affair, but a pretty boring fight up until Wlads lays him out in the 7th or 8th round.
