Prime Frank Bruno v Wlad who wins? I think both are evenly matched as both are big upright heavyweights and throw one twos,jabs are good and knock out power is about equal. Bruno has the better chin so he edges it for me.
Both good jabs, great power and similar size. Bruno has the better chin, both questionable mentality. 60:40 in favor of Frank.
I guess you two ^^ didnt see Lewis/Bruno Would have looked similar, except I doubt Wlad under stewart would get caught early
So you guys are favouring a guy that came up short every time he fought an elite guy over an elite guy like Wlad - makes sense.
Wlad definitely had the better chin. I'd go with Wlad by stoppage in the mid-rounds. Bruno had a pretty decent ability, but he usually went down hurt if you ever caught him flush. (at least the Bruno I remember)
Bruno never went down when caught flush with one shot it would always take a barrage of punches to actually floor him. All the guys Bruno lost to were better than Wlad with the exception of Smith. I think Bruno matches Wlad well and could of beaten him.
Wlad's control of distance, superior stamina, better speed, better timing, considerably better defense (mostly as a result of footwoork) make this a bad night for Frank who would simply be not mobile enough, and would have his good jab negated by a few of the attributes listed above. Wlad KO mid-late rounds.
Similar size: no, Bruno was 6.3' 225 in his prime, not that bigger than Haye And you forgot speed, which is clearly in favor of Klitschko (particularly of foot) despite being the bigger man.
Certainly Bruno has a chance, albeit a small one. I would give him 2 wins if he fought 10 fights vs. Wlad.
