No hating or trolling here, just good honest opinions. I seriously think this is a 50/50 fight, it depends on the way either go about it. I think if Haye is aggressive early and dosent let Wlad settle, hes got a great chance. Let Wlad settle and take the fight into the later rounds, Wlad takes it.
Haye survives early by attempting to land one big shot to stun Wlad because he does not want to get into a heavy exchange too early. Wlad finds his jab around round 7 when Haye tires from running. Wlad by late K.O. I really dont see this any other way. Just my honest opinion. Wlad's defense is too good and Haye fights with his hands down relying on head movement. Haye gets knocked out convincingly.
Obviously its one of them that can go either way and early. Heart says Haye by destruction Head says Haye after some difficult moments
The edge has to go to Vlad but, Haye has a much bigger shot at the upset than any other opponent in years...I don't buy into the 'ducking' thing as much as most, I just don't see Haye being afraid of Vlad...Haye's best chance is measured aggression early and often...Of course, that could also merely serve to get him ko'd quickly vs Vlad too... My odds on this would be somewhere around 60-40 Vlad...
Wlad definately enters as favorite no doubt about that, and there is a very strong chance that he dominates and KOs Haye. But i have a feeling Haye has the ability to get his punches home on Wlad better than anyone has on the Ukrainien in recent years, and i just fancy Haye to have the accuracy and the power to end this fight at some point. Even if he was being frustrated by Wlad and looking more and more like the loser in the fight i think Haye would not want to exit the fight without landing some of his own artillery first. Which i honestly fancy him to do. Has good has Wladimir has been in recent times he has'nt faced anyone like Haye, i know Haye ain't faced anyone like him either but he has had to overcome some adversity (Fragomeni, Mormeck, Barrett) whereas Wlad has been in his comfort zone since 2005. This fight could go a number of ways eg; it could be a borefest were both men are scared to commit because of respect to the other man's power, or because of there own insecurities about taking a punch, or even because off all the hype, the amount of time the fight took to make, and the magnitude of the fight may just get to one or both of them. Because let's face it neither has been involved in a fight this big before. We could have a quick blowout for either man (strong possibility) or one being dominated by the other (likely Haye), this fight could go a number of ways which is what makes it fascinating. While i think Wlad is easily the superior HW and has a far better record of the two, and i acknowledge that there is a strong possiblity he could destroy Haye. I just can't help feeling that Haye has a strong winning mentality that will be enough to take Wlad into waters that he has struggled to swim in before. That's why i vote for Haye.
Wlad KO's Haye between rounds 6 and 9. Haye is just too damn small. Wlad will be able to use the size advantage in order to fight his fight in this matchup. Haye weighed in at 211 in his last fight, which is less than Chris Byrd did for either fight against Wlad. He better have an excellent fight plan, some hidden punch resistance we don't know about, and a ton of discipline in sticking to his strategy if he hopes to pull this one off. It really is a mismatch, even though people don't see it.
Vlad Vs. Haye is a mismatch!!!!!!! Vlad will knock Haye out either early, mid rounds or even late, depending on when he set him up. One good punch on Haye and Haye will be out for the count.........
The only way David would win this fight is by means of some random anomaly, for example, a WK cut. Otherwise, WK wins a lopsided decision, late-round-stoppage or David quits in his corner due to a "separated shoulder", "torn pectoral muscle" or some similar "malady". The pre-fight hype for this fight will probably exceed anything in the history of the sport, given the hyper-promotional bent and size of the egos involved. But, the fight itself will fail to deliver the goods and most probably be an anticlimactic bore. David will run, run run and take a few potshots, hoping that one gets through. WK will sit, sit, sit behind his jab, jab, jab.
I think Wlad will have some sucess with the jab for the first 2 rounds then he will feel comfortable till the 3rd when haye will slip the jab and land a massive shot which will put Wlad on his back. How the fight will pan out after than will be down to the ref and i can see Wlad grabbing alot and try to work the jab to what may be a slit decision. BUT if haye comes in fit and has sucess slipping that jab then its lights out for wlad in 6
