According to the main forum, Wlad is one of the all time greats and has beaten all comers in the currently talent-stacked HW division (maybe the best HW division of all time if the threads on the main forum are to be believed). In comparison, SRR seems all hype: Who's got the better credentials?
How can a fighter who lost the middleweight title 5 times be compared to a guy thats only lost the heavyweight title once?
What's your opinion then? I think Wlad is extremely effective with what he has and as long as he bamboozles his opposition it will continue, IMO. That said, some of the threads in the main forum are just folly.:yep Anyone would think he's the greatest HW of all time- that's why I chose to compare him to someone much smaller so people would realise that I wasn't be serious.
SSR is my no.1 favourite fighter of all time so I'm sure you can guess I don't mind Wlad but yeah I am in agreement, the Klit love train is charging up a head of schedule and I just can't wait for when he beats Haye  I'm sure will not hear about it from all the Klit fans here, I feel that just as they claim is a great virtue of a champion they will remain silent and humble. They certainly won't disrespect David Haye (as he did Klit) and prove themselves complete hypocrites.
robinson would bamboozle the clit with his superior speed and movement, and stop him within 6 rounds:dance der der der der can't touch this:rofl
What gets me is his life story would make a fantastic film but I've never seen anything. Has there ever been even a TV film even made about him? As for Wlad's fans- if Haye does beat him they will be completely gracious in defeat .
:good Nice one, cheers mate. He is one of the sport's forgotten characters though- the only times I've ever seen footage of him in fights is grainy youtube vids.
Aye, the guy is the only one worthy of the title "The Greatest" for me, after I got into boxing through Lennox Lewis vs Frank Bruno he was the first guy outside of Britain I started to take an interest in with a book my Dad had about him which I read from cover to cover, it wasn't till the glorious invention of youtube though that I saw much more then a couple fights of his and it's that lack of media that puts people off him I think. I highly doubt you'll hear any man, woman or child say a bad word against the guy he was just good in the wrong time to be popular on the level of Ali but the right time to compile a fight record like his. Swings and roundabouts I guess, nowadays he wouldn't have been able to fight as much as he did and prove he was the greatest, but he'd be a bigger "star".
