Despite some clear nervousness as the big night approached, Haye and guys at his level are rarely afraid of the other fighter. They are scared of losing, a different kind of fear. Why would Haye go to such lengths to obtain and market this bout, and then turn around and scuttle it. I for one, believ he has sustained a genuine injury. Too bad. Opportunity might never knock again. As to the card, isn't the giant available ? Didn't he train hard for a bout recently and have his opponent pull out ? This alternative bout makes perfect sense. Unification. Credible (as it gets these days) opponent. Some might think this was serendipity. Don King notwithstanding, this is the match-up we need to see to salvage this card. Both fighters owe it to their fans. Bring on Klitschko - Valuev !!!
