Wlad/Vitali - who has the current best footwork?

I disagree....................... Wlad Klit nailed Rusty Chagaev left and right back in June, dropping him in round 2 from a sneaky right hand.... Still, Chagaev got up and carried onward...... Chagaev was finished in the same manner that Cris Arreola was done against Vitali Klit......... Both Chagaev and Arreola finished on the stool...... WTF? That's as close as you can get from two fights with similar results.........

Wlad easily. He totally schooled Chagaev. The guy is faster than his brother. Nobody can argue that.

 

Within the framework of their styles (assuming Vitali has turned a new leaf and will fight all his remaining handful of fights exactly as he did against Arreola), Wlad is the slightly superior ring general. He's always in position to be doing what he wants to do, against any style.

 

Just the fact that Wladimir fights with his hands up helps him be more effective than Vitali. You can't really generate a whole lot of power if your punching from your hips. Wlad on the other hand punches from up high and rotates his hips and shoulders and also gets his legs into the punches. That's why Wlad hits so damn hard. It's just simple mechanics. As funny as this may sound, Vitali stings like a bee and Wladimir kicks like a mule.

 

Neither Klitschko floats like a butterfly though. More like Siberian ice breakers.

From a technical standpoint Wladdy's footwork is better and he's also lighter on his feet... thing is brother Vitali actually moves around the ring more, gives more angles, and uses better ring generalship despite the fact that he has much more akward and cruder footwork. Just another thing that big bro Vitali does better than Wlad.

 

For different situations. For example With controls distance better, has better stance to land a straight punch and to avoid one. BUT Vitaly's footwork are set to break attacks and to land punches from weird angles.

 

This thread isn't serious, is it. Good footwork!!?atsch Yeah right. At times Vitali looked like a new born deer. Get real folks. Dominant, no doubt. Flashy don't kid yourself. I'd rather see Wlad more so than Vitali.

 

Vitali used to sit on his punches more, especially when going for the kill. He cracked lennox with some hard shots in the 2nd round and had him stumbling. That straight right hand he almost decapitated sanders with, en route to finishing him, in the final round of that fight was loaded as well.

Wlad more fluid more effective, more fast. And Wlad had the faster punch with more snap in his punches.

 

Vitali Klit is still bigger, badder, tougher, meaner and much more ballsy in the ring...... V.K. makes a grown man **** himself during the stare down....... I'm glad Vitali finally taught Wladimir about the stare down technique....... I use to hate it when Wlad would come into the ring with a ****-eating-grin on his face...... I have noticed that Wlad has found his meaner side as of late and looks kinda' pissed upon coming into the ring...... STILL! Older bro. Vitali is the master there.........

Vitali is very skilled. He moves quite well, doesn't look as good as Vlad because his style is a mix of Euro boxing/kick boxing.
