Remember back in like 2004 when Don King had all 4 Heavyweight belts and refused to let his fighters unify? That is probably what we will end up with. And some people on here will be happy with that.:rofl:patsch

Damn every major belt in the division ... That's amazing, I think that Wlad is one of the best HW's of all-times. He no doubt did what he had to do ... losing early, reinventing himself and going on this incredible run. I think that these guys are such a different breed of fighter that it makes it impossible to look competetive against them.
Their era is kinda weak but it's still impressive what these guys are doing and I don't care who you are ... when you're on such a streak like they are, they has to be some level of consistancy or your ass will get knocked out.

Vitali's presence detracts from Wlad's resume. If it wasn't for Vitali Wlad would have won the WBC in 08-09 beaten #2 ranked Chagaev in 2009 for the lineal title and beaten #2 ranked Haye and be looking to fight #2 ranked Adamek in 2012.

Adamek beating Vitali would be very interesting. It would set up a final unifiaction fight.

Yeah, they accomplished their goal and should be proud. I haven't been a huge fan of the brothers, but they've really earned my respect at a boxing fan. I think history will treat them much more kindly than many current boxing fans have. They have stamped this period in HW history as the Klitschko Era

I think for Wlad to get a crack and Vitali's title after he retires, he may have to drop one of the others, or avoid a mandatory, or something will screw it up.

But if he beats the holder of the vacated WBC, he'll be *the man* regardless of what he has to lose in order to get the fight.

CHEF - What's the deal with Vitali? I thought he was going to retire at the end of 2011, but I just read that it seems like they are going to keep fighting.

Do you know who might be on Vitali's radar after Adamek? Stiverne? Valuev doesn't seem like a reasonable option anymore considering he hasn't fought in 20 months.

Is he targeting any of the younger fighters (Boytsov, Helenius, etc.)?

I dont know... i dont think Vitali even knows.....

IMO. this will be the last fight..... but thats just my opinion.... it will depend how this fight works out... if its another quick fight ala solis.... then I see another fight. so back to camp again

I think I heard somewhere that Mrs Klitschko wanted Solis to be his last fight, but it didnt go as planned :) As we all know.

Vitali needs to retire on top, beating Adamek would be a good way to go out :)

Will he go fulltime into politics? Imagine if he was president of Ukraine one day! That would be awesome!
