Bowe was a seek and destroy kind of fighter, Wlad's biggest weakness, is his chin, Bowe would go looking for it early, also, one of Wlad's biggest weaknesses technically, is that he gets disorganized when backed up, that would also play into Bowe's hands.

That is the way of the Bowe apologist

They use 1 Bowe fight as the measure of Bowe, then cherry pick the worst points encompassing another fighters whole career.

wlad in onesided fashion. without doubt.

maybe out of ten fights bowe would get lucky once or twice, but wlad is the better of the two by some way.

Maybe not great but good for sure..

What I find more important in this fight is that he had a great overhand right. Very powerful and he was very smart in using it. It was kind of sneaky. He could measure you for a good while without you even noticing it and when he looked like he wants to chill out or rest for a second attempting to clinch.. BANG!!! He finds the opening.. Similar with the uppercut.

Wlad is very careful nowadays so it's pretty hard to call but if Bowe is to win it would be by TKO from something like this I think. Styles make fights and in this one I would slightly lean towards Bowe. If Wlad's to win it would be thanks to managing to stay outside and avoid power shots all night to the possibly wide UD IMO.

Also, mentalities clash would be in Bowe's favour I suppose. He was a ruthless, fearless bully and Wlad seems a bit prone to being intimidated. I'd go with Vitali to beat Bowe but Wlad is a somewhat different story.

I am not sure who would win but Bowe isn't all the Americans are making him up to be (ie Zakman). They are trying to make him into some kind of god (which he was anything but) and that Holyfield's losses to Bowe are for some reason more justifiable than Lewis's losses against McCall and Rahman.

I am not sure who would win because the jury is still out on Wlad. Sure he's done great in the last six years and he showed heart in Peter 1. However we need him challenged to see really what he has got. I really think that Haye represents the only real challenge to him at the moment, which is why he wants that fight.

Golota had the ability to double and triple up his jab at will. Bowe had a good jab too, but nothing like Golota's. The difference between Bowe and Wlad is Bowe had an inside game. Golota also had an inside, as we have seen when we was landing 3-4 and even 5 punch combinations.

Depends on how much Bowe listens to Futch. If he just goes out there swinging looking for a shiny new knockout victory then he's in for a nasty surprise.

    is this poll a joke?

prime bowe is an atg heavyweight head to head. theres no way vlads chin would stand up to prime riddick bowe. bowe is a bad allround match up for vlad and most heavyweights head to head.

There's not one fighter in history, who could fight prime Bowe and avoid getting into a brawl with him at some point. None. The only real argument against Bowe, is that he'd lose these brawls. Could he outbrawl prime Tyson, Frazier or Foreman? Could he maintain a brawl against Ali or Holmes? Those are the questions that Bowe has lingering over him in H2H match ups.

However, he would still lure these guys into fighting his type of fight, so this idea that Wlad could stay at range and outbox him is absolute nonsense. Wlad would end up getting hit and does anyone seriously think he'd win that type of fight?!
