That is a good one to have, but I would never sport it. It would be like Jeter playing for the red sox, I would lose my hater pass on the spot.
I just re-watched Tyson vs. Bruno I last night & Bruno sucked ****. He clinched more than Ruiz & he held behind the neck with his left while throwing punches with his right hand & he still couldn't faze Tyson. He should've been DQ'd for those ridiculous tactics but istead he was just TKO'd. You guys seriously need to re-watch & re-think your statements BEFORE you post. These early fighters were not unbeateable, super humans. I rate Frank Bruno right there with Bonecrusher Smith, as not that's not very highly. His jab? Give me a ****in' break.....................
Seeing how Wlad froze against Peter and Brewster, I wonder what he would've done with an 89 Tyson, other than get KTFO there wouldn't be much Wlad would've done. Wlad is NO ATG, he just happens to be fighting in 1 of if not the worst era of HW boxing ever.
Here we go again with the revisionist history................... Bruno looked as if he was going to cry on his way to the ring against Tyson. Please provide the fight where I can see this supposed amazing jab of Bruno's. I ain't seen it yet. The best example is vs. Lewis & Wlad has a much better, more versatle, more powerful jab than Lewis had.
:nono Wrong. It is an excellent jab, don't get me wrong, but you tend to notice it much more with a fighter that relies completely upon it. Lewis also had an excellent lead left hook, could uppercut with both hands and was probably one of the top ten right hand punchers at any weight in boxing history. Wlad has a very good lead left hook, which is rarely used, a fearsome straight right, which is under-used, and doesn't uppercut for fear of getting nailed.
Wlad's jab is one of the best all-around jabs I ever seen a Heavyweight throw. Other than maybe Holmes, I never seen a heavyweight consistantly control a fight with just his jab. I cant believe I'm saying this, but I would probably lay down money that Wlad would beat 10 out of the top 20 heavyweights just using his jab.
Both fighters lack that killer instinct to finish there man off . I could see this being a real bore of a fight with Wladimir getting the decision with maybe a few scares early on from Bruno's big punch.
Bruno was outclassed, had no chance of winning and he knew going into the rematch he was gonna get KTFO, Wlad froze against lumbering guys who came with NOTHING except aggression, so lets not go there. When did Wlad get a better jab than Lewis? I'd really like to know, I ve seen Lewis in with a number of guys who could really fight.
Again, let's take the very worst version of Wlad & put him against the very best version of Tyson...................... Dude, you're transparent.
I clearly said Tyson vs. Bruno 1, not the rematch, of which I have no idea why Bruno got a rematch after such a poor showing. I haven't seen more holding & hitting since Ali.
