You have to fight with Wlad, not box him. Good as Chambers is he's a boxer first, and Wlad would do his usual.

    No.
Byrd was better than Chambers. Byrd had quick feet to go with quick hands, and Wlad annihilated him.
Even Brock was a tougher challenge [even though Chamber beat Brock] because he had a little bit of pop in his punches with decent skills, while Chambers is feather fisted.
I think even Williamson was a tougher fight than Chambers.

To be honest, I think Chambers will be one of Wlad's easier fights due to his style. Chambers sort of leans back to avoid punches...the probelm with that is Wlad's long arms. Not only long arms, but long arms with LOADS of power. Unless Chambers works on his foot movement, and TREMENDOUSLY improves, Wlad will knock chambers out.
Chambers will be a good name on Wlads victim list, but he won't be hard for Wlad to beat.

No challenge. In many ways Peter was probably his toughest winning effort match, though that's largely in the context of where his career was. He needs to be approached aggressively - both mentally and physically. That's why I liked the Haye fight.

Wlad will KO chambers easily. While chambers has great hand speed, that peek-a-boo defense will not work at all and wee all know chambers doesnt have enough power to really hurt guys

Chambers might even want to wait or go after another champ (valuev)

No, Wlad struggles with aggresive punchers not feather fisted boxers.

Far from it. Chris Byrd Mk II, if not easier.

Yeah, this. Chambers's high guard D will be right in the path for Wlad's 1-2. And Chambers simply doesn't have the power to scare Wlad.

I like how you said it better.:good

It was a long time ago, but we had Chambers in camp when Wlad was getting ready for Brock. Wlad destroyed Chambers. We sent him home after 1 week. Take it for what its worth:good

Chambers has no chance against Wlad.

Now, against Adamek on the other hand... :deal :happy

I agree with you. I believe someone really needs to take the fight to Wlad and consistently get in his face. I believe aggression from an opponant will disrupt Wlad mentally, that's half the battle right now.

I like Chambers, but it really is a bad style match-up for him. The comparisons to Byrd are warranted, and the fight would play out about the same. Wlad would never give him an opening for his counter-shots, and Chambers just does not have a pressure offense to ever give him trouble. Sadly, if the fight happens, many will discredit Chambers as being an unworthy challenger (just like Chagaev, Ibragimov, Brock, etc...). He deserves more respect than that.
