Wlad in an intiguing fight. Not necessarily entertaining but intriguing.

I figure Chambers will have success early on and surprise Wlad a couple times with his fast hands and good defensive ability. Eventually though Wlad will figure him out and either stop him around 10 or take a wide decision.

Wlad. I don't think Chambers has the presence or power to worry Wlad and try to take him out of his element with pressure. That said, I don't think Wlad will go looking for the knockout because Chambers is quicker and harder too hit than most at HW. I think he'll take a clear decision though, something like 9-3/10-2.

Not a Wlad fan but I think it's a little unfair to refer to his chin as "awful"

The guy has a good enough chin to get by.

Yeah it's not awful. He wasn't KO'd for a start, he got up several times against Corrie Sanders who's a monster-punch. He was exhausted against Brewster aswell who's another big-puncher and he again wasn't clean KO'd.

I believe he's learned a lesson from those fights. He's much better defensively for a start, and his stamina has obviously improved and he's greater at pacing himself. I don't think he's got a granite chin, but I agree it's not awful. You expect the punches to have an impact at HW. I mean Lewis got knocked out twice and he took on puncher's all through his career and took their punches fine.

Right TommyV. I don't like Wlad but I don't think "shaky chin" is one of his main flaws anymore.

This is the HW division. Anybody in the top 10 at heavyweight has a puncher's chance.

Chambers showed against Dimitrenko that he has the speed and footwork to move in and out effectively against a tall opponent, while landing accurate combo's. But Wlad is much better than Dimitrenko and will use his size to much better effect. And unlike Dimitrenko, Wlad has the speed to stay on top of Chambers as he tries to move out of range, jab, and then follow up with huge straight rights. It should be competitive, but Chambers does not have the size or power to keep Wlad worrying and I think Wlad will be more assertive and aggressive than we have recently seen.

    Wlad by stoppage inside 10.

im looking for chambers to win this one.hes got great Real boxing skills.he can take a good punch and he has great defence.it will be hard from him to beat wald because of his size and reach and style.but i beleive he can work his way to the inside and put smart pressure on wald.if chambers dont win, i think it will be wald hardest fight since his fight with peter in terms of the diffculty leve of the fight.

im rooting for chambers, i will not bet on the fight.but if chambers won i would not be the least surprised.in fact i would have an almost a told you so type of attitude.

    chambers by ud ! :bbb

Take a punch from who? Chambers has never been in the ring with a guy like Wlad and Chambers has that lean back hands at the side of the head defense. Wlad is going to tear that up... and if Chambers tries a new defnse, I promise you, as soon as Chambers starts to get hit and feels the power, he will go right back to his comfort zone... back to that lean back style.... begining of the end IMO
