Wlad will KO Chambers. Eddie is going to be giving up about 5 inches in height and almost as much in reach. Chambers does not have any power to bother Wlad and we have all seen what Wlad does to fighters that have no power he goes right through them like a knife through butter.

    Wlad KO 6.

Chambers hits harder than Chris Byrd and has enough power to hurt Wlad.

They all have a game plan until they start to get hit and feel the power

so chambers will be able to get past Wlads Jab and left hook? Not all night he wont. Yes eddie if fast, but so is Wlad... faster then most give credit.

To much advantage for Wlad..... size, reach, power, good footwork, experience.

    Wlad KO 7

he might hit harder than Byrd but not by much and that is not hard to do.

I think this fight will be a lot like the second Byrd fight.

Sounds like Wlad is very focused. That is dangerous.

Chambers will win for the following reasons:

    1) He's a lot slicker than Wlad and almost anyone Wlad has faced.

    2) He has VERY fast hands...faster than Wlad's.

    3) He has underrated power...he may not KO guys often but he DOES put a lot of hurt on his opponents.

    4) Probably most importantly...Chambers has a fantastic ability to judge range. You very seldom see him throw a lazy or pawing jab, or a half-assed hook. If he's throwing a punch at you, it's because you are there to be hit.

    5) Chambers has the kind of style that is very discouraging for oppoenents. They can't hit him flush, they can't set anything good up on him, and they end up backing away from him after getting caught enough.

It also doesn't hurt that he sometimes trains at my gym.

What I think you're going to see is Eddie taking serious advantage of Wlad's sometimes pawing jab with a lot of counters...both counterpunching and counter-movement. Wlad is going to have a very hard time keeping Eddie in front of him for the big right hand, and IMO will get discouraged after the 4th round.

Wladimir Klitschko is a great fighter, but one who hasn't had to use a "plan B" in as long as I can remember (he did make an adjustment against Brock, to his credit, by throwing an actual meaningful jab). I think that if Eddie can get things going early on against Wlad, you'll see Wlad get "fighter's block" similar to what happened to Dimitrenko.

well ****!, I guess Wlad should quit right now and just forget that he has more power, size advantage, more experience, and a devistating jab that is known to take guys right out of their game plans.

sorry buddy but NO WAY Chambers wins this fight.

You will eat your words, CHEF! You'll probably need to chew Wlad's words too for him while you're doing that, since he will be eating out of a straw. :smoke

When is the ticket sale supposed to launch? Is the Esprit Arena confirmed as the venue?

I'm seriously considerung to attend the fight but the Esprit Arena homepage still has no information whatsoever on Wlad - Chambers.

I think it's the opposite. Wlad is the greatest opponent that Chambers has faced. Chambers weighed in at 208 lbs when has last fought. If he does that again he'll be outweighed by 40 lbs of muscle. Let's see what happens when Chambers gets hit with a flush jab or a left hook. You say that Wladimir will need to use a plan B, more like Chambers will have to use a plan B. And that B stands for Bail. He'll be running in defensive mode when he realized how fast and how POWERFUL Wlad is. If Chambers thinks he can fight the same plan as when he fought Dimitrenko, then Chambers is going to be in for a rude awakening.

All I know is it was looking like a stadium in Dooseldorf (sp?) I dont know the name of the soccer stadium. I thinks he said Foruna?

Im sure it will be announced soon as Wlad usually has a presser before reporting to camp and camp starts in 3 weeks:good

I don't think he needs to at all. Matter of fact, the style he uses in other fights is probably better for him to use against Wlad. Although it never hurts to keep your hands up :good
