wlads also the one who has fought world class opposition. fury has fought absolutely no one. he has a pretty good resume on his duck list though, price, ustinov, pulev, thompson, wilder.

By the time Fury has 60+ fights he will have 10 losses. And that's being very generous.

I'm a HUGE fan of Fury, but he would be SMART to fight Wilder or Pianeta.
More $$$$.....In those fights and better chance of a win.

Grab the title, whichever first, then make a defense then go after the other non Klitschko title

Fury lacks the 2 things needed to beat Wlad. A Chin and power. This fight is going to be easy work for Wlad. Wlad will KO him or if Fury "boxes off the back foot" which is British slang on here for running it will be 120-108 on all 3 judges scorecards.

No kidding, Fury has yet to beat a top 10 heavy. Pianeta gives him a very good fight.

Either you need good speed with a heavy punch (Sanders) for a big blitz attack. Or you need a giant steel chin and a monstrous punch as you weather the early storm and then fight Wlad toe-to-toe as he gasses out (Brewster I). Fury has neither. He doens't have the speed. He doesn't have the chin. He can't possibly outbox Wlad who is the much better boxer. He doesn't have the workrate.

Furys only hope is to make this a dirty street fight and hope to tire out Wlad by holding and leaning on him (basically what Wlad does to his opponents). This is what I would try if I was Fury, but not sure at all if this strategy has a chance of working.

Or be better than Tony Thompson.

Anybody slightly better than Tony Thompson that night would have knocked Wlad out.

Fury is a lot better than that Tony Thompson who brought a leg injury into the fight.

Wlad isn't as great as you think he is.

So you're saying it just takes a guy slightly better than Joey Abell or Steve Cunningham to KO Fury? Is that your logic? :deal

Fury certainly isn't as great as you think he is either he doesn't being anything to the table but size. Matter of fact the only reason Fury was able to beat Cunningham was because of his size (and fouling)

After Wlad shatters Fury's Glass Jaw just as he did Pulev you will be on to someone else to beat him I suspect Wilder because that is all that would be left. You have told us over and over how Povetkin and Pulev were going to stop Wlad and now it is the Glass Jawed Fury.:rofl:patsch

Joey Abell?? He fought him coming off the couch - without any preparation or sparring. He was used only to shape up and Fury still done a job on him.

Wlad would put in his usual 6 week state of the art , million dollar training camp to fight Abell.

He did it for Leapai. Abell and Pie are on he same level.
