Eubank vs Benn is up there with 16m people watching in the UK alone and is much bigger than any fight in the 2000's. Saying that, the Klits fights are always bigger than anything the UK or USA put on as it's non-PPV. 8m watch the Klits in Germany vs any opponent.

In the UK and USA Boxing is nowhere near as big as it was in the 90's before PPV.

If you made the Haye/Klits fight free to watch I doubt boxing has enough profile to get North of 10m anymore (and that's generous). My Grandmother knew who Eubank was i.e. everyone knew and wanted to watch the Champs back in the late 80's early 90's!

Boxing build up used to be so awesome. Put into context 16m is around 50% of the whole UK population watching (taking 2 per people watching per household)!!!

Also, I'm sure the Eubank Benn fight isn't even the top fight in terms of viewing figures. Summary is, no fight in the 21st Century touches the pre PPV "big fights". .

The local argument is here nor there as 16m people will be North of the amount of Worldwide viewers watching Haye/Klits.

Klits will have 10-12m or so watching in Germany on non PPV. 1m in the UK and I'm unsure in the US, but it won't be millions.

Bring back non PPV!!!

Brits are only popular in UK, nobody ever heard of Eubank or Benn elsewhere in Europe than UK.

You have no clue how big some of these uk fights were. none.
