Wlad vs Haye will be one of the worst HW title fights of all times

Haye could make it ugly, yes, like he did with Valuev. Wlad seems to be more confident nowadays. I just hope Haye sees it as an opportunity to beat him since Wlad's chin is just as shaky as his

Haye cannot beat Wlad with straight shots off the back foot in a counter style , he has not got the entangibles to acheive it !!!

Absolutley right he needs to show Wlad plenty of angles , head movement , un predictable combination punching , but all from power shots , he cannot and will not counter Wlad to a decision , he is not elusive enough and has a distinct dis advantage in ring craft against the seasoned Wlad .................

 

This would'nt be a pretty fight to watch but it wouldn't be as bad as Haye-Valuev. For starters, Haye knew Valuev had a solid chin and a massive reach and he fought exactly the right fight to get the decision, not forgetting that he had SNV on ***** street for a moment. Haye knows Wlad is more agile and skilfull than Valuev and that he has one of the best jabs in the business, BUT a far worse chin. I see the fight going one of two ways for Haye:

1. Haye goes all-out from the opening bell to try and catch Wlad off guard. The fight doesn't last one round and one of them gets knocked out brutally. I think Haye knows Wlad would be expecting this, but I can see Wlad getting unsettled anyway. For all Wlad's preparation, it will still be in his mind that Haye will be one of the hardest and quickest puncher's he's ever faced.

2. Haye starts out like he did with Valuev, moving round Wlad and looking cagey. About 3 or 4 rounds in when Wlad is settled in his rythm, Haye throws a few feints and goes for broke (assuming Haye is still standing by that point). Again, someone gets knocked out brutally.

I can't see Haye using any other strategy, no way he gets a points decision against Wlad in Germany, a) mainly because Wlad will outbox him over 12 and b) it's Wlad's 'home' country.

Klit fans rave on about how Wlad has found his perfect strategy but this works against him for me in this fight. Haye has shown he can fight more than one way and win. No-one expected him to fight like he did against SNV (most people didn't think he was capable of it). Wlad's style looks great against largely immobile opponents with zero lateral movement but Haye will always be on the move, circling, throwing feints and always just out of reach of Wlad's jab unless he commits and risks the inevitable counter. One thing is certain though, and that is one bomb from either man ends the fight.

 

I think Wlad will be very confident and pretty aggressive.

Given how many people will be watching this fight, and not wanting to get bitched out by Steward again (Ibrag fight) Wlad will probably suprise us with how hard and heavy he goes after Haye.

I see Haye being pretty cautious, as he was with Valuev, but even more so.


But when Haye sees an opening, they'll be loading up with power from the pits of hell, cause he knows he'll probably get precious few chances to land something, give Wlad's reach and telephonepole-like jab.

Iggy was a southpaw, Haye isn't. Haye doesn't have a long straight left to counter with.

Haye has a decent left hook that he can throw in close quarters but nothing long enough to go over Wlad's right.

And comparing Haye to Ibragimov (a southpaw) shows you know **** all about boxing.
