Wlad vs Haye will be one of the worst HW title fights of all times

He didn't let his hands go until the end. Don't you remember Manny Steward was fuming again the corner between rounds because Wlad was being too negative? Considering that Chambers is small and feather-fisted, what makes you think he will be more attacking versus Haye? Simple answer, he won't, he'll be more negative. As negative as the Ibragimov fight.

Haye is the counter puncher,so ye,it will be stand off ish to an extent, until wlad finally lets a jab and right hand go for haye to counter.

if it got stand off ish and nothing happened for a round or two, then haye would most likely risk it and just jump on in and let the right hands fly.

i dont beleive wlad will be able to do his usual clinching and leaning agaisnt haye, haye would see it coming, and punch before he gets them in.

or punch out of the clinch, over hand punches would wobble wlad easy.

wlad wont look so quick and co-ordinated agiasnt a fast counter puncher who is explosive.

I am not condoning either fight, as they were both extremely hard to watch. But Ibraimov was a south paw, and he was the one running around the ring just like Haye. And for Haye defense Vaulev was 7ft. Just looks worse after you talk **** pre-fight and do nothing of the sort. It wasn't Wlad circling around the ropes that caused the lack of action. His pawing in the fight was used to stop Ibrag's jab and set up a strt right. The fight also didn't end in a Majority decision like Hayes, but in a lopsided UD. Plus it was a unification bout.

That being said neither fighter was aggressive enough when they could have been. Wlad with his reach, and Haye with his speed.

    very good analysis and prediction.

haye could very well get caught with a right hand, but he knows that wlad is faster than he seems,d the reach is very long and heavy handed.

he knows that the right hand is less used without wlads jab coming first.(pawing the jab seems to be done a lot by opponents early, and it does stop wlad getting off,but most opponents only paw, they dont have the footwork, athelticism to paw and then step to the side/go under and come over with punches after pawing the jab.)

i wouldtn be shocked to see haye either show angles and movement and bob and weave, looking to get in close and throw over hand rights.

or for him to run and make wlad chase him and hit & miss, therefore giving haye angles and space to counter.

it could be very fraudley ish type fight.but obvs. wlad is better and more dangerous, and not quite as sissy scared as fraudley.

people dont give haye credit, but he does have some skill with keeping range, and being able to make the opponents be out of range to hit him,and then him pop into range hit them and slip under and way to the side.

he stopped ruiz clinching a lot cuz of his range and fast counterpunching.

and i think wlad knows full well valuev chin is tough, and his chin is not,the fear factor of hayes power will make him sharper and more scared, and make him react different and less composed.

of course if haye didnt concentrate and stay sharp himself he could get clocked with a right hand!.

    Wow, incredibly wrong OP.

Haye will come out like a barnstormer, swarming Wlad with hayemakers, while Wlad holds and pumps the jab/hook.

For 2 or 3 rounds, Haye will go all out early in the round trying to pull off a Corrie Sanders, his only hope.

Wlad will weather the storm, find his distance, and end it with a flurry around the 5th or 6th. Haye will be KOd, for the count plus the doc is gonna have to come in a pull the mouthpiece out and bring Haye back to.

    Yeah you might be right.

One of the reasons Wlad is as boring as he is, but ironically as successful as he is, is cause he does not extend himself, he does not get out of his envelope. Haye on the other hand, needs Wlad to extend himself so he can get his offense going, as he works his openings oFf your leads, as he wants to play counter puncher.

It wasn't that bad a fight.

It was by no means great, but it was one of Wlad's more exciting ones. There have been many far worse fights than that.
