Not for the money that K2 offer & the options they demand.

This can't surely be true although it will be funny seeing the fanboys justify fres as the best available heavyweight.

If everyone else is ducking him, what other choice does he have? It sucks but at least he's staying active.

Oquendo would be a horrible choice. It'd be embarrassing. Oquendo lost a close fight to Mormeck, the bum that got decapitated by Wlad in a total mismatch.

More proof that this division is dead. As much as I like the Klitschkos it's sad to see them resort to such opponents because of a lacking division, though at least Wladimir is active. Whether you like Wladimir or hate him, he would give a lot of top heavyweight hell even in losing, sadly the current division has nothing to fully test him.

He is right, what other choices does he really have out there? The opponents worth a challenge want none of him. Povetkin has been saying he's not ready since 2010, Haye is a joke, Fury isn't ready(though like Haye previously, he's very much ready behind a microphone), Pulev isn't ready(17 fights only) and Price isn't ready either(15 professional fights).

Mormeck is a cruiserweight who has been through far too many wars by the time he was forced to move up to heavyweight. I wouldn't overlook that and consider him a "bum" unless you're psychologically challenged to the very core.

While Oquendo probably deserves a payday as much as any boxer, that doesn't justify this fight. Oquendo should be fighting on the undercard against Ustinov or some other marginal contender.

K2 should offer a million dollar purse to Fury, Pulev, and Helenius and see if any of them bite. The fight with Fury would sell itself--obviously that's a big money fight. With Pulev and Helenius it could sell well if it was marketed right. At least with these guys it would be a contest and not a walkover. Are fans really going to pay a PPV fee for Wlad-Oquendo?

By most accounts, he shouldn't have lost.

(although by most accounts, it was indeed close)

You would have to be an absolute mug to pay to go to see this fight.
