Povetkin is back. Top Heavyweight. The best after Wladimir. ATG potential. Incredible punching power, first and last man ever to stop Wach. Good footwork, stamina is back as well. He is back. Stronger than ever. Is he even human? How would a fight against Wladimir look this time? Can he get through Wladimir's jab?
Huge fan of both boxers. Lets first see how Povetkin will handle Wilder and then talk. I do think that Povetkin will brutally murder Wilder, but lets wait and see. And for Klitschko, let see how far past his prime he is against Fury, cause he sure is past his prime.
Could Povetkin beat Ali, Holmes, Foreman, Marciano, Lennox, Joe Louis, Holyfield, and Tyson all at the same time with one hand tied behind his back? I'd have to lean towards yes, but it might take him a couple rounds. With both hands he definitely takes them all in 30 seconds.
That is difficult to say now. One Thing that is for sure is that both have to met for unifing the Division, caus Wlad will knock Fury out and Povetkin will beat Wilder. But i dont think that Povetkin, after beating Wilder in April/May 2016, will take this fight before 2018. He will make some volunterya and a mando.. I don't know how Wlad will look like in 2018.. thats a Long way, and one guy that can destroy the plan of Wlad vs Povetkin II is AJ when he gets a mando ahot on one of both guys. Right now I would say 60/40 for Wlad but if Povetkin adapted what he did wrong in the first fight I give him a Chance. Right now, he is the only one I really give achance, a Little one but a Chance. Wilder, Fury, Chagaev and also AJ right now have a 0% Chance of beating Wlad :deal
This is really based on nothing. You guys just assume the HW division will suck forever and be dominated by Easter European fighters. Those three are definitely the best prospects to come out in years. Nothing lasts forever. Klitschko looked very beatable against Jennings and he is not getting any younger. Povetkin is on a nice run against second tier fighters. None of that is enough to dismiss Wilder, Fury, or Joshua's chances of beating them, period.
Wlad did all he could to keep Povetkin on his feet so that a rematch remained marketable. He dominated Povetkin with his left hand alone for 12 rounds and never broke a sweat in the process. if a rematch happens Wlads gonna bring up that steelhammer right cross and Povetkin gets sparked out in five or less and it wont be pretty.
I don't see a rematch as Povetkin will want a few home defences against lesser lights once he smashes Wilder - if he ever gets that slippery fraud in a ring! Maybe Wlad will still be around in 2017 but he will be 41.
On the contrary, he said he wanted the rematch vs Wlad if he beats Wilder. Which makes sense since he's not getting any younger and a rematch with Wlad for the "first undisputed HW champion since Lennox" title considering his KO streak -should he KOs Wilder of course- could bring him the biggest payday any European boxer has ever seen.
